Djene Hair Braiding — Local services in New York

If I could give 0 stars I would. Extremely unprofessional. A friend recommended me so I thought I was in for a treat. And my first time there I showed a picture wanting dreads they gave me box braids with twists instead paid 200$ than I had to take the hair our cause it was so so so stiff and sticking together and super tight. So I went for a new style feed in braids showed a picture again and this lady gave me regular cornrows going down and cut the ends horrible where its losens up and not stay braided. They cannot do hair at all in my Opinion like its terrible, and I wouldn’t waist the time or money to ever return here. Super disappointed and my friend feels bad now... but yeah if this helps anyone in...

The braids were terrible big and bulky just ugly I got short length bob box braids worst braids I ever got in my life I remember sitting all the way in the back and another worker sat across from me and started saying why was i staring at her (in her language) she really got so upset yelling my braider explained she was mad because she thought I was looking at her oh please she wanted to fight me and I’m just looking at her act a fool whole time unbothered because I would of kicked her ssa up and down that shop but never again I let my braider pull me from the station and follow her here for this experience I’ll stick to who I go to nice clean updated shop right on Adam...

TERRIBLE Disgusting business! The owner Djene cannot even braid, the wait is long. Owner takes forever to braid, very long wait times and do not have braiders available to braid customers.Their bathroom is disgusting and does not even have a seat and has ductape holding everything together.
