VIM — Local services in New York

UPDATE (8/4/25) -I took a friend to VIM in Manhattan, on 3rd Ave. & 122nd Street, to buy sneakers because he had never been there. He expected to pay up to $90 for a pair of size 13 sneakers, but he wound up spending $40 for 2 pairs. This place has incredible prices on Clothing & Footwear. It's the perfect place to shop for the Holidays. They have Excellent name brand clothes & sneakers for GREAT Prices. They also have one of the Best Employees that ANY Business can have. Her name is Kim and she works downstairs in the Shoe Department. She was working alone and handling up to 4 different Customers with Patience, Respect & Kindness. She is one of the reasons why I will regularly shop there. My advice for anyone who wants a great bargain on name brand clothing and footwear, to stop by. It will be worth your trip. Great place to buy sneakers. Don't expect to see name brand, expensive sneakers here like Jordans but the selections run between Nike, new balance, Fila, Reebok, pumas, Adidas. If lucky enough you can find the show you are looking for in the rack and you can try them on. However there are some sneakers that you will need assistance with. It's very hard to get some one to help you, I waited a long time for an associate to get assistance. Everything else is ok. This location has two levels, the bottom level is sneakers and the upper level is clothing. Now they sell men and women clothing. Mostly, laid back Urban wear.. The place is ok but they dont have much staff and the people they do have you have to hunt them down I went with my husband and son to buy some winter boot for all of us and they had alot of cute stuff but everytime I need a size it was a mission to locate the sale associate I finally locate the associate for a size she would say no sorry we dont have it I think we went down the whole boot wall so we left with nothing I asked the manager before we left when do you get shipment on shoes he was not very talkative and said I will just go...
