This is simply one of the best libraries I've ever been to, which is saying something since I'm a person who loves books and loves reading, and so to me libraries are essentially sacred temples. Being a new resident of New York City, I never visited this branch before the renovation but the space in its current incarnation is bright and inviting. The staff, at least the ones I've encountered, is uniformly excellent and helpful, not just with books but even the necessities of life, such as teaching one about computers or helping one find a job. Read moreIt's a nice place in which to study. It may get a little noisy but the staff are quick to respond to any disruptive sounds or persons, and I appreciate that. The area that it is in, may not be accepted by "some people" but this library is clean and the people who work there are respectful, courteous and...
