Doviana - Hypoallergenic Fine Jewelry and Professional Piercing — Local services in New York

Decided to stroll in for a piercing and I picked this store because I’m highly allergic to nickel and given their jewelry is hypoallergenic this was def the store for me. The piercing rates are more than fair and the cost is the piercing plus the jewelry you pick ($35 -$200+) which can be in silver, gold or titanium.

I decided to get my helix pierced (for the second time in my life) and had the best experience with Ricardo. He walked me through where he’d pierce me based on the jewelry I picked and marked me up first so I was clear where the earring would go. First time piercers, I’ve had multiple piercings and this place was probably the best place I’ve been pierced. Maria Tash is great but this place cost less, is a safe haven for folks with nickel allergies and has a knowledgeable piercer who walks you through every step he takes and is super reassuring/encouraging. I’m so happy that I stumbled upon this hidden gem in NYC last week. I love their dainty and sophisticated jewelry (not to mention the affordable prices!) I purchased 3 pairs across 2 locations in NYC. The service at both locations was exceptional. Initially, there was a specific pair of earrings (silver cobra ones) that I had my heart set on but they were not available at the first location I visited. Since I was only visiting NYC temporarily, the staff kindly reached out to the other location, reserved the earrings and made it possible for me to acquire them on the same day. My ears are very very sensitive and it’s hard to find earring that don’t irritate them. I came across this brand when I was in New York for a trip LAST YEAR and I wanted to give it some time before I write a review. I was skeptical about purchasing the earrings because there are a lot of brands that say their jewelry won’t irritate your ear but they do later. This was NOT the case. I bought the snake hoops (lobes) and the dangling eye hoop (for my helix and it looks so cute) and I’ve worn them almost everyday through hot sun, beach, snow any type of weather and they kept their color and I’ve NEVER had an issue with irritation. Highly recommend! It looks like they did go up in price or it just might be different if you buy from their website than in person (I paid $30 each in person last year for my sets) but I’ll be buying more pairs soon and shipping...
