Horrible hair colour by "senior" female technician (mira?) . Coloured my hair twice, left hair dye on my face , left the back of my shirt wet after hair washing and best of all expected a tip . Really ?! I went in for the consultation as it was my first time at the salon, and realised that the stylist didnt really know what she was talking about after I showed her the picture which I was expecting. I told her i might reconsider as the price she quoted was quite expensive. She came back to discuss the price again and sounded more reassuring that she knew what I wanted. We went ahead and lo and behold, I looked like a golden haired monkey ( which i told her I didnt want anything too bright at the beginning ). She then offered to recolour to a darker colour ( results left a lot to be desired). I just left it at that stage, accepted that this might not be the best person to be doing hair colour. To be fair, she might be good at other things but just not hair colouring. I honestly think that if you havent got enough flair with colouring, dont attempt it - it destroys someone's hair. Just give the customer to someone who can do a better job. And please touch your heart to see if a tip is really deserved given the mess up. Hopefully hairstyling goes beyond just earning money. This was my first time getting a perm on a wolf-cut and I was pretty satisfied with the results from stylist Shin. I have really straight Asian hair so it's tough and laborious to style every morning. I asked for a subtle perm to give my haircut some texture that would wave away from my face. The process lasted about two hours but was bearable. Although I wished the staff would've applied some vaseline or lotion around the scalp of my face since the perm solution stun quite a bit (this might also be because I have sensitive skin). They did eventually apply the lotion when I brought up the stinging which was fine. But overall the perm was amazing, staff was attentive and friendly, and environment was welcoming and clean. Hair cut was ok, but my head was itchy the whole time because my hair was not properly cleaned. The lady applied shampoo and rubbed my scalp for less than 2 minutes, apparently didn’t take the time to clean every where. I thought she is going to shampoo it again because washing it twice is the standard procedure and was what I always get in salon. But no. She hustle to put conditioner on my hair. Conditioner was not apply thoroughly and I was so disappointed and uncomfortable I want to wash it myself. Now I just want to go home and wash my hair …..
