Duane Reade — Local services in New York

I ordered a medication for my patient thru phone which should be delivered in a day or two but we didn’t receive it. I went to the pharmacy personally to pickup/ follow up the medication. So I told the cashier in the pharmacy dept. about what happened and she spoke to the Asian lady pharmacist about it. The cashier told me it was delivered already to my patients building and it was signed by the receiver, I asked the name of the person who signed/received it. So I went back to my patient building to check it with the door man. It’s not delivered no note in the building log book about any delivery to my patient, I went back again to the Walgreens/pharmacy talk to same cashier and pharmacist that it wasn’t received or no delivery of any medication for my patient and no such name (who signed or received the medications) that work in the building. The pharmacist and the cashier keep insisting that it was delivered and they can’t do anything. They just told me to check the building camera/cctv.I insist maybe it’s delivered in the wrong address. Anyway I told my patient wife about it and she went to the pharmacy to check about it, they try to check again and find out it was delivered to the wrong address. It was easily solve because my patient wife is white and I’m brown and I just a hha. I feel sorry for the cashier and the Asian lady pharmacist who treated me. RACIST people! Extremely rude personnel at the pharmacy. I went to pick up my medicine that I really needed to feel better. They did not have my insurance info in their system, wasn’t my first time there, neither my phone number, which I provided before. On top of that the employee complained that I was coughing in her face, actually I did with my lips closed, I would recommend to wear masks and gloves if they want to continue working in this industry or maybe have a glass window to block any kind of contact with mostly sick clients. She never had a chance to use my insurance information and after 15 minutes in there listening to this nasty person; Left the pharmacy without my medicine, very upset, while the employee screamed at me that I was going to pay only 10 dollars. Worst pharmacy and probably the rudest pharmacist I have ever encountered. She wouldn't even give me her full name. Bichel...Bijal...Bitchal? She was ghetto and hard to understand. My medication was supposed to be delivered a week ago. I've called 4 times about it at this point. The employees are incompetent and lazy. Even when you go into the store, there are usually long lines and many of the workers are standing around talking to each other doing nothing.
