This is by far the worse doctor's office experience I've ever had. I came in for a quick allergy test to have an official list of my allergies. My appointment was at 8:30 am. I got there at 8:35 am and by 9:00 am I still hadn't seen a doctor. When I approached the front desk they told me that because I was filling out my paperwork they allowed someone else to take my appointment slot. It was only after telling them I couldn't be late for work did they have a doctor see me at 9:15 am. I didn't leave the office for another 30 minutes. My second time there again my appointment was at 8:30 am on a Monday morning. I walked in and no one else was there. I figured it'd be a quick visit only for 9:00 am to roll around and I still hadn't seen a doctor. I approached the front desk only for the woman to tell me "that's not her department." I waited another 5 minutes for the receptionist to arrive - she never did. I eventually got up and left as I couldn't be late for work. While the doctor's in the office might be good at their job this is no way to operate an office environment, especially in NYC. You cannot keep your potential patients waiting for 30-45 minutes because you choose to overbook your space. In NYC (or any fast paced city) this is a sure way to fail at business. Needless to say I will not return. I refuse to even visit another location for fear of dealing with the same mess. If you're looking for a place that values time and patients concerns then I suggest you run for the hills. This is not the place to be. I am now in the process of looking for another Allergy specialist after this place wasted...
Read moreThis office and the team are great. The front desk girls are so sweet and definitely get 5 stars from me. The reason for 2 stars is the billing in this office is HORRIBLE. I am familiar with insurance, and how it works so am constantly checking my claims. A few months ago I started noticing my claims were being denied because the office was out of network. Knowing this is incorrect (I confirmed with the office) I worked with my insurance to get this fixed. Fast forward a few months and more claims were denied for the same reason. Then I received a bill in the mail for over $2000! I called the billing department and explained that them attempting to bill out of network when they are in network with my insurance is wrong. The rep confirmed they are in network with my insurance, and it must have been a “glitch” in the system. A glitch on multiple claims, hmm doubtful. Luckily I didnt pay as of yet because I imagine if i did my money wouldve not been refunded. If you come here, watch your claims and bills closely. Dont just pay...
Read moreWaited 30 minutes for my appointment, was called back then told I had to wait longer because one of the doctors put another patient in the room the nurse prepped for me. Kept me waiting another 10 before I asked for a refund of my copay and left. I came all the way from Brooklyn to make this appointment on a late, long train just to have them waste my time. Not to mention, it’s impossible to get someone on the phone or their app in order to make the appointment in the first place. I will day, the woman at reception was lovely, I feel bad that she doesn’t work for a more competent practice. Also, they collected a copay and never refunded me as promised.
EDIT: yeah I used the chat feature, no one responds. Being busy for allergy season means you need to anticipate higher volumes and get...
