Duane Reade — Local services in New York

I visited this branch of Duane Reade on Friday 5/12/24 for the first time ever. I went there for my Covid and pneumonia vaccinations. I’m 65 and have visited many pharmacies. By far, the pharmacist on duty that morning was the BEST I have encountered - both in terms of medical knowledge and customer service. I believe her name is Alice (sorry if I am mistaken). She was the only pharmacist on duty on the morning of 5/12/24. She deserves appreciation and commendations from Duane Reade corporate. Staff aren’t very friendly. I was confused by something and the lady started yelling at me rather than explaining it. There’s a cancer facility directly next door, please consider that some if your customers have cancer or are dealing with some level of disabilities from cancer. Confusion being a big one. They also rarely have what I need. I tend to avoid this one (12 years of cancer visits has taught be this), but occasionally I check if I need something. This Walgreens is just the Worst. The Staff is Extremely Unfriendly and Do not Provide Any Customer Service. I am in a Wheelchair, I asked for Some Assistance and the Female Staff Member just stated I'm going on my Break. Then I Noticed the Refrigerator Door was not Closing Properly and I let the other Staff Member Know. And She just Shrugged her Shoulders. This is the Refrigerator with the Dairy Products in it. Real uncaring Staff in this Store...
