Late last year, I've decided that I'm going to invest and take better care of my skin rather than blanket it with foundation and cover ups. I was introduced to Kevin at KurSpa through a coworker that raved about him. She was actually the one that inspired me to take better care of my skin- you could see her glowing from across the room and I was curious what she was doing.

KurSpa is a very clean and professional environment and from the front desk to the specialists, everyone is super friendly, not pushy, and easy to talk to. The person behind all the magic though is Kevin. When I had my consultation with him, he was very thorough and patient with all my questions and went over my expectations and explained the realistic steps in achieving my goals.

I purchased a package that is a mix of Vivace Microneedling and Genesis Laser (Vivace helps produce your natural collagen so that it will fill in your indentations and large pores over time- it's natural because it is produced by you as opposed to fillers. Genesis Laser lightens and eventually rids your hyper pigmentations and previous acne scars).

I would consider when I first walked in, my skin to have previous acne scars and severe indentations, large pores, and sun spots. Living in the city doesn't help with the stress from work and life to give my skin the rest and glow- I would say my skin looked tired.

It has been 3 months since I've received my treatments (I've been coming in every two to three weeks to Kevin who customizes the lasers based on my needs) and my skin has dramatically improved in pore size, lightening of scars and instead of a more yellow-ish tint, I've noticed that my skin has a more dewy, rosy glow.

They say that results are drastically seen after six months of committed procedures, but I can already see so much improvement.

Regarding cost, when purchased in a package, it is very cost efficient and well worth your investment- and the team is there to help out with a payment plan if you cannot pay the full upfront.

I would recommend Kevin at KurSpa to everyone! I am confident to say that I don't feel like just a customer that comes in and out but well taken care of by him who is so detail oriented and thoughtful about the progress of my skin...

I had pretty bad acne scars that I felt insecure about. First I went to a famous plastic surgeon and spent $$$$$$$$, and got erbium laser, cosmelan peels, TCA cross, and micro-needling RF for over a year. I was very disappointed when I saw my before and after photos during my last appointment and decided not to go back. It's very disheartening to get your hopes up and spend loads of cash and be consistent with treatments to find out that there was minimal improvement. After that, I did PRP with a micro-needling pen consistently for a year (I think I got 10-11 sessions done), and I still didn't see a difference. By then, I had probably spent over 15K on treatments without seeing results. I decided it wasn't economically possible to continue trying to find a cure, and I should accept my scars. I stumbled across google reviews with the Vivave Micro-needling RF at KUR, and I decided I'll try one more time, and then that's it lol!! I met Kevin and told him about my disappointment and acne scar revision journey so far. She was so attentive and gave me treatment options. Not once did I feel pushed to purchase anything or get extra treatments or add ons, like when I went to the famous doctor. The front desk staff are friendly and make you feel so welcome. I got four Vivace Micro-needling RF and three laser treatments enhanced with PCA skin Chemical Peels with Kevin. Their prices are fair and way more doable than the other doctor I saw. I got the best results. I am writing this review 4 months after my last treatment at Kur. I know what it's like trying to find the perfect doctor to solve your problems and feeling hopeful, so I wanted to wait until my last treatment to provide an honest review. I am thrilled with my results. Now my face isn't perfectly scarless. I still have indentations on my cheeks, but they are not as noticeable as before. I don't feel insecure about my acne scars anymore. I want to stress again, My face isn't completely smooth so don't expect to be completely scarless. I will continue more Vivace Micro-needling RF treatments to build up the volume of these acne scar indents. I hope this review helps anyone feeling on the fence to try out...

Update: I have now been going to Phetmany for about a year and she has been great with Deep Pore Detox. She genuinely wants to help her clients have clear skin. Phetmany does a great job with extractions, so if this is something that your skin needs, I'd recommend going to her because she is extremely efficient. In addition, she will also do face massage while washing your face and shoulder massage when you are waiting for your mask to dry! Overall, I've had such a great experience and can't recommend her enough! Apart from being a great esthetician, she is also very kind and friendly! Update: I have been going to Aliya now since about October and my skin has seen a significant improvement. Aliya has designed a customized treatment for my skin which consists of alternating between Deep Pore Detox Treatment and Acne Control. The process takes a few months to give results but the wait is definitely worth it – I have much less bumps on my face, less scaring and my skin is smoother in general. Aliya also recommended a skin care routine to complement the procedures. Highly recommend!

I did Microdermabrasion with Lilian recently and I was very pleased. I hadn't have a facial since February due to the lockdown, so my face was in a very bad condition but only a week after the treatment and after I have been using the products she prescribed I can see a difference and a great improvement.

I strongly recommend KUR Skin Lab and Lilian because she really did a lot of extraction manually which I think is the most important part in a procedure. In the past I have been to other salons where they put a tons of creams on your face but don't really do any extraction so your face remains with the clogged pores.
