I went in today to buy ground beef & placed the order. I witnessed one worker cutting up chicken breast meat and feeding it into the only visible grinder. I asked if they were going to clean it for my order or use a different grinder. They told me that they would use a hand grinder in the back. But the second worker who prepared my cuts for grinding placed my beef into the same grinder that still had chicken all over the hopper and inside the mechanism. They extruded my order into a bag that contained at least a 1/4 cup of chicken and associated liquid into my beef order. Cross contamination such as this can lead to illness and death.
