We had a Georgian nanny when my kids were little, she was a great cook. So when we were driving through Brooklyn & my son saw a Georgian restaurant he wanted to go in. It was lunch time & we were the only ones there. We figured they must have just opened. It was 95 degrees outside & air-conditioning was not on. We figured it just hasn't cooled down yet, but it was never turned on, not even after we got there. The tablets were on top of each other, difficult to get in and out. Can't imagine how bad it gets at dinner time.
Every dish was oversalted.
After a while a Georgian family came in and were seated right next to us. They immediately started smoking. I have asthma so I asked the waitress to ask them to stop smoking until we left, we were almost done. She got nasty, wouldn't even move us to another table in an empty place. The people at the next table were nice enough to stop smoking and apologized for her, but I had to wait outside for my family b/c the place had no ventilation and the old smoke was all over the room

Read moreVery bad experience. We ordered khachapuri and came to pick it up. We waited for 45 minutes at the store. Every 10 minutes the cashier was telling that it’s ready. When we were about to leave , she brought it from the kitchen. Our evening was ruined. Totally unprofessional manners. I left a message on their Instagram, the manager reached out to me and just apologized. It’s not how respectful business should treat their customers. Of course, it was my last order from that store.
Update: answer to Royal Garden Tbilisi. Yes, the manager apologised several times. But it’s not the point how many times you apologised. It’s just words, not the remedy of the situation. Regarding your cellphone, thank you: I want to submit the order and get it on time without calling manager. Regarding 1 star review, my point was to bring to your attention that your customer service needs some improvement, if you value...
Read moreMy Lovely wife "Nanuli Bortsvadze Florer" is from Tbilisi. I went to Tbilisi in 2019 and truly fell in love with the country, food, and people. Steak was my favorite meal, but when Nanuli introduce me to Khinkali, my mouth exploded with a new spectacular taste in which I never experienced before. Now, Khinkali is my favorite meal of all. We went to the Royal Gardens Tbilisi in New York with some dear friends, and we truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The food was amazingly awesome, and the restaurant staff was awesome as well. I am so looking forward to my next visit to New York and heading back to the Royal Gardens Tbilisi restaurant. FYI, they don't sell alcohol, but you can bring your own bottle. Our dear friend Irena brought this bottle for us to drink, and it was made by a good friend of the family in Tbilisi. It was very good. Thank you so...
