When I arrived around 12:30pm on 12/06 the Valet guy was really nice and I appreciate his willingness to help. The Valet guy that was attending when I picked up the car on 12/06 at around 4:30pm was extremely rude. First an forth-most, I know what it’s like to be a valet, I used to do it in worse conditions than just sitting in a office and waiting for customer to come, I ran for hours until 2am getting cars and taking them do the customer at different events. I paid my ticket with ParkWhiz, I told the valet guy I paid my ticket already he said scan it, I ask him where, he points with his head and I had no idea where he was pointing. I asked again where, he said “You’re looking at it” I kept searching and asking where, he raised his voice and said “THERE!”, I became furious. I looked at him and said “Can you help me I don’t see where I need to scan” that’s when I realized a very tiny camera on a screen. I asked “what do I scan” and he said “YOURE HOLDING IT IN YOUR HANDS” I became even more furious at this point and I still maintained my composure I said “at least tell me that I have to follow prompts before scanning and not just tell me to scan” by those last few words he was basically calling me stupid. I’m an accounting for a big firm now, and NO ONE deserves to be treated as such. I didn’t see his name but records will show that whoever was working on 12/06 at around 4:30pm-5pm was the person that needs a change in attitude. Ripped me off on Jeep parking as 'oversized vehicle" I've been parking at this lot since 2010 when I work on Varick st. Parked there last month and was charged $56.00 for an oversized vehicle. I've been driving a TWO DOOR jeep wrangler for 18 years. At this lot and any other brand name lot ( Icon, Quick park etc) I've never been charged more for a 2 door BUT they do charge more for the 4 door and other larger cars and trucks. The attendant said they 'guy' I needed to speak to was not there and would not be there till morning. I was leaving town for a month and got back today and was told "OH no- we always charge more for those" "We can't fit it under the lift. It's too high". Funny how that was never a problem the last 8 years. They said sometimes the guys put it in as oversize, sometimes they don't. Well which is it? They have to tell you when you park it's considered oversize- they did not. Every other lots has a LIST of cars and trucks that are considered oversize- they don't. Beware. These guys are sneaky at best. Ticket showed 54 dollars for 34 hours when I scanned my ticket. Scanned the ticket on their app as I walked to the garage as it was recommended by they attendant who took my car. 54 was the right price. When I picked up my car they demanded 78 for 48 hours of parking. Attendant claimed I was 6 minutes late picking up my car and there was nothing he could do and that my bill had been rounded up to the next full day. They obviously have my car and keys so I am stuck. Literally 6 minutes. Feel bad for the attendant, who was very polite, that he has to stand behind questionable...
