Elegant Nail Spa — Local services in New York

With a sad and upset heart I'm writing this review as I'm finishing my visit. Going from the best to worst in my book one visit at a time. I've been coming here for about 3 years now and not until lately have I become dissatisfied with the service. I get the gel manicure and usually spa pedicure. Mostly gel manicures every two weeks. Well they provide you with a card and after your 10th visit you get a free manicure. Well that didn't happen. Upon completion I presented my card and was told it was for a free regular manicure. So of course I'm confused because it stated that nowhere on the card. The owner does my nails so I'm explaining that maybe cards should read that because consumers will assume that the free manicure is the type of manicure you always get. That day I was so upset I left and came back because for a second I thought I was crazy. Still no resolution. I vowed not to go back but hey I'm loyal. Next visit after that - owner isnt there so I decide to allow one of the other young lady do my nails. Well she rushed, talked to her peer the entire which resulted in a worst manicure I've had in a long time. Then we reach today - callled to assure owner was there - made an appointment. Arrive there, she assisting someone else and stated it will be an hour wait. Then offered for someone else to do my pedicure and she would do my nails. LIES! Lady finish my feet and she then was instructed to do my nails. Of course she cut me in the process of completing the job and I'm totally over it. It's super sad because I've referred many people there and anyone that ever asked where I do. So to experience this and for the trend to continue visit after visit, I feel like a lost consumer because I don't want to meet new people or changed nail shops but some times...

This was a horrible experience. I took me and my daughter‘s here to do our nails, and I was very nice and kept it very professional with the ladies in there and first of all I had to get acrylic on my toe and she made acrylic on my toe go opposite of what my toe is and then she got upset, cause I asked nicely if she could please make it straight and then she literally side and then ripped the previous acrylic off my toe full force and then she placed a acrylic on my toe and she didn’t even decide to file it or remove any type of bumps because she said she had another customer to get to Make a long story short at the end after I paid they literally went and they put their own tip on my card and...

the most horrible nails i’ve had. i went here a week ago, got a uv gel fill in. the french was terrible. the next day one of my nails were already lifting. i went back to get it fixed all he did was glue it. couple days later 2 more nails are lifting again. i go back she fixes it more properly. it’s been 3 days since and the same nails and more are lifting AGAIN. it’s been a WEEK. never...
