Elegant Nails NY Inc. — Local services in New York

I don't like going here because they take alot of shortcuts and the work is shoddy. Almost everytime I get my nails done here, they break within 2 days of doing them. Mind you, I'm not even doing anything strenuous. This doesn't happen with my regular tech. They can't do the trendy nail detailing that alot of other salons do because they don't have the accessories/knowledge. The shop is run down as well

I went in for a pedicure and inquired about the cost of waxing upper lip and eyebrows... the lady I asked called another woman and both were looking me up and down speaking in chinese. Just because of my attire and my engagement ring, they told me $35. I could get my entire face threaded for that by someone who does a much better job and has a more aesthetically pleasing location. Then when I said no, they tried haggling the price down...No thanks!

Edit: extremely unsanitary and lacks accountability. They never sterilize their tools and this has now caused me an unsightly infection. I was convinced into getting acrylic on my toes despite not needing it. I came back over 4 times requesting them to be removed and being told no. Finally pushed for them to remove it yesterday and I had full blown fungal and green nail infections. Would...

I've been coming here for years, simply because I prefer to get my eyebrows waxed and I want to be in and out. This location is relatively small and the nail polish smells (and other chemicals used) is so overwhelming when you step in. I have an eye contact with the man in the back, he already knows what I want, so as soon as I enter and he sees me, he motions for me to come to the back area (that's set up with two chairs for waxing eyebrows/upper lip). I immediately sit down and the young lady proceeds to wax my eyebrows just as I like them. Once done, I inspect in the mirror, put my mask back on and pay for my services. Of course, he makes sure to provide change so that you can tip. Which I provide a tip to the young lady who's provided my service. I've had a few pedicures here in the summer, but it's not something I do often because I don't like the set-up. It's awkward to step up and try and get comfortable in those seats. Is it sanitary? I'm not so sure, but it's one of the reasons that I only do a fancy pedicure in the summer (when I am wearing...

It was my first time here. Hannah did my nails. Although there was a good amount of people there, I was immediately addressed by a man when I walked in and had no wait to get my nails done.

The other reviews are correct. They are very fast and I love it! My boyfriend could not believe when I called him that I was done in less than an hour. I got a fill in and Hannah was patient with me choosing my colors and going back and forth.

The diamond job could’ve been done better but the nails look nice and their prices are really reasonable and on point. I felt comfortable there and there was no drama nor did I feel like I was being constantly gossiped about in another language like SOME places! There were many nail techs there and a sectioned off area for eye brows and upper lip waxing that I will probably try next time I am there as well as a pedicure.
