I brought my kids here for the first time today. I found the place to be cute but too small. There is a cafe in front with three small tables and the workshop was in the back. For the first hour I was able to supervise my kids, since there were only 2 other people working on pottery but then another couple showed up and apparently the owner decided it was too cramped for me to remain in the back, so she shooed me away. All with a smile of course. I was thinking of bringing a small group of girls in but I don’t think it is a good idea. She says everything with a smile, but she definitely turned me off today. I came here for the first time with some friends to paint and it was a truly amazing experience! There were many base ceramics to choose from, and the owner Elizabeth guided us through every step of the process. She was extremely friendly, helpful and encouraging the whole time we were there. You can really see the passion she had for her business and also the arts. It was so fun and relaxing, and we’re excited to see what our finished product will look like!

My daughter likes painting & pottery even though she is blind. Her favorite subject in school is Ceramic. I found Elly’s Art & Crafts online and let my daughter had a try. This is her 3rd time here and will continue coming. My daughter says she enjoys the peace and joy when she is working on her art pieces.
