Back in March 2 weeks prior to my trip I discovered my passport had expired 3 weeks earlier. . I first called the government agency who actually processes passports but could not be guaranteed an appointment in NYC within a 2 week period . So I called a few different places that guarantee your passport within a short time period for a fee ranging from $500–$900 plus the expedited passport fee of $190 . I chose emergency expedited passports since I now had 10 days before my trip , after seeing the reviews and speaking with a gentleman who assured me for 4-5 day fee of $690 plus the $190 I would get my passport within 5 days. Was feeling really anxious at this point my trip only 10 days away , I did not ask many questions. I followed all instructions, completed the form paid the fee online and awaited a call to schedule an appointment to bring in my documents. Received a notification via my email that they would be in touch on Monday before 12pm. ( I had to call them at 3 pm on Monday ) The gentleman had told me that that I would be accommodated if I could not make the 5 pm cut off time for an appt. ( I planned to leave work a little early but was afraid I may not make 5pm). Well when I called was told absolutely no special accommodations only the appts that are open . So no alternative I left my job a few hours early. I arrive there , was told I needed to pick up my passport next week Wednesday before 5pm and initially gave me no option other than myself or another person to pick up my passport. ( I just assumed for that kind of fee shipping included to my homeI) I was unable to arrange to leave work early again so I said then I’ll just cancel and asked for a refund . I was told that I would only get half back !! Wow Then the woman offers me to have a FedEx for $40 additional fee plus an additional fee of $100 to expedite a 3 day delivery of my passport . Distraught over the entire interaction I paid additional $140. Interestingly , my passport arrived at their facility on Wednesday and was overnighted for Thursday ( my flight on Friday 8am) . My passport arrived at their facility the same day that it was initially scheduled for ..on Wednesday …. Not 2 days earlier as a 3 day extra fee which was charged of 100 . I could swallow the additional $40 FedEx fee for delivery but the additional $100 was for nothing. I did reach out to their customer service expecting a refund of $100 and an apology but no response. I’m leaving 3 stars since I did receive my passport for a total of $1,020.00 . However a bad experience overall . ..I would not recommend this company .always do your research there are multiple companies that offer this sort of service .. ask a lot of questions .. don’t be...
Read moreI never leave online reviews, and usually don’t trust them either, primarily because you really don’t know if it’s the legit truth & not a AI generated review these days. But this company deserves all the praise & acknowledgement for being credible & reliable. I contacted EME about 2 weeks before my departure date to Jamaica. With all of the horrible stories I heard about passport delays, I honestly didn’t think it could be done & was prepared to sulk at home. Michelle & Heidi assured me if I did their 3 day service I’d have my passport in time to travel. They immediately scheduled an appt at their office within 2 days after I made my payment, communicated with me constantly via email and answered any questions or concerns I had. communication is A+. they reviewed all my documents & made sure when I paid my passport fee at the post office everything would go smoothly. They even will take your photo for you if need be. Yes it’s prob a bit costly for some to pay, but if you waited until the last min to get your passport & want to take that vacation it’s worth every penny!!! The professionalism from these ladies is top notch & I had my passport on the promise date & had the best time ever on my trip. One thing to note….VERY IMPORTANT… the date you are scheduled to pick up your passport, be at their office before 5:30 pm if they tell you to be there. access to the building & waiting area will be limited, and the receptionist on the 3rd fl isn’t the most friendly or informative. You WILL be locked out! But as for the ladies at this office I could but have been...
Read moreIf I could give this company 10 stars, I would! The week of Christmas, I realized my passport had expired with less than 3 weeks to go before a vacation I had been looking forward to all year. In the matter of an hour, I found Emergency Expedited Passports and went from crying crocodile tears and panicking to laughing on the phone with Tanya as she reassured me that she would get me fixed up in plenty of time to enjoy my trip. And she did…with a full week to spare! Not only that, but she provided me with some of the best customer service I’ve ever experienced. She proactively called me multiple times throughout the process to make sure I understood how to properly fill out the paperwork, met the right requirements for my passport photos, and knew exactly what items to put in the FedEx package and which type of shipping to choose. It's also important to note that I live in Virginia. I was not available to come into the New York office so all this stellar customer service was provided strictly via phone and email…I can’t even imagine how well the team must take care of their local clients! All in all, Emergency Expedited Passports turned a would-be nightmare into a wonderful experience. If you ever find yourself in the same boat, make sure to give...
