had an outstanding experience at Eye To Eye Vision Centers on the Upper East Side. From the moment I walked in, the staff at the front desk were warm, welcoming, and efficient. I barely had to wait before being seen — everything moved quickly and smoothly. Danny was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire visit. You can tell he truly cares about his patients and takes pride in providing top-level care. The entire process — from check-in to the eye exam — was seamless and pleasant. The office is clean, well-organized, and run with real attention to detail. Honestly, everything was a 10/10. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great eye care with excellent service and a personal touch.

I bought clear frames around 2 months or so ago and they are already turning beige/yellow. The fact that they would have known this may happen and didn’t inform me so that I could decide if I wanted them says a lot about this business. I can’t be the first person. I spent hundreds of dollars on clear frames that are no longer clear and it’s only been about two months and I don’t wear them everyday. I switch between pairs. This is a waste of money unless you want frames that will change colors. I can only imagine what they would look like a year from now or beyond. They are clearly cheap frames for an expensive price if they instantly began changing colors.

I just picked up my glasses and I am very pleased. From the eye exam with Dr. Ruvio to getting fitted for glasses and now receiving them. Awesome experience. Go Brooklyn 👍🏾!

I have been a long-time customer at the location for eye glasses and contact lenses. I don't leave reviews, but this experience must be shared.

I had an appointment with Dr. Cooper on May 25, 2023, and I was to receive a new trail of contact lens that he customized for me to try out. As per Iris, I would receive the try outs in 5 to 10 business days from the appointment date then i would be able to place the 6 months order and have it in time for my vacation at the end of June. Over 3 weeks pass, and i call as a reminder. I spoke to Iris. Iris said the tryouts were not ordered, and the prescribed contact lens isn't carried in the stores. This delay has caused an inconvenience to my travel plans. This is irresponsible and unprofessional. I mentioned to Iris that i would stop by on Tuesday, and Iris responded okay see you on Tuesday."

Today, I arrived at the place at 5:50pm. l waited in line as soon as i arrived. Only one person was ahead of me. A Caucasian male arrives and skips me in line. JUANA greets him and does not greet me. JUANA discriminated against me the moment i arrived at the store. I am standing in front of her, and she made eye contact with me a few times while i waited in line. JUANA finishes with a customer and then walks away to avoid me. Then, JUANA returns after 2 minutes and assists me. I explained the situation with Iris, how i came by to pick up the lens, and the lack of inconveniences it has caused me for my vacation. As i explained, JUANA caught an attitude and then proceeded with more attitude as she asked questions. JUANA continued to interrupt me as i answered her questions. JUANA raised her voice at me in front of other customers and workers, then proceeded to walk away, as i was speaking to her. How is this type of behavior tolerated? I kept my professional composure the entire time.

JUANA was frustrated from the very beginning of when i walked into the store because it was the end of her shift. I was the last customer for her to assist. JUANA grabbed her belongings and walked out of the store. JUANA didn't finish the transaction with me. Then JUANA came back inside to speak to the manager for a brief moment. How professional to leave a customer unattended?

JUANA is the worst customer representative at this place. This place has really nice people. JUANA should not work at this place if she is going to interact with customers in that manner. No one should encounter disgruntal, disrespectful, unprofessional, and discrimination.

My insurance doesn't cover much other than the exam. After today, I will no longer return to this store, especially when i am paying out of pocket for services and products. If you visit this store, proceed...

I’ve been here today. My appointment was scheduled on 4PM, but I’ve arrived 15 minutes earlier. Spend only 1 minute waiting and a man from front desk called doctor Daniel Ruvio. Daniel Ruvio is the best doctor I’ve ever met! As this was the first time I’m visiting ophthalmologist in US, he explained what type of exams we’re going to do and why. I was really nervous to make eye pressure test (never did that before), but Mr. Ruvio explained in details how it will feel like and also said that everyone who takes an exam always goes out smiling. And that’s true! He also patiently listened to my not so perfect English while I was showing him my previous prescription, glasses and lenses. Contact lens selection process was perfect - doctor Daniel Ruvio was really patient and asked how these or those diopter feels for me paying my attention that our main goal to feel myself comfortable. So I definitely recommend to visit this doctor as he really cares about his patients! Iris (hope I wrote her name correct), who helped me with my receipt and payment is also a great and friendly woman! She explained me about my insurance coverage and all the details about the bill and gave me lens solution :) I stepped into this vision center angry (because of the bad day at work) and stressed (because of the thoughts about eye exams) and I was coming out smiling! (as doctor Daniel Ruvio promised :)) Highly recommend this vision center to everyone! Thank you guys for such positive...

Terrible experience. I ultimately went somewhere else, where I confirmed my original exam at Eye2Eye was inaccurate...and where I had exact trial lenses in hand in less than a week, my annual lens order filled/delivered in my new Rx within 10 days. Inaccurate exam performed at Eye2Eye with dirty equipment. Office is a complete filthy wreck, totally disorganized & cluttered with piles of paper & stuff in every corner/surface. Don't get me started on the restroom situation. Reception staff is totally unprofessional, prepared to tell you that you're wrong before you even finish a sentence. Refractor eye exam machine looked like somone smeared chicken grease on lenses. Told optometrist, he exasperatedly wiped the machine with a kleenex only after I complained 3x that I couldn't see the exam chart clearly, which did not clean anything. It was clear my trial lenses had not even been ordered yet when I called a week later to follow up...they couldn't find my name, order, and didn't seem to know who I was...and tried to cover this by telling me trial lenses take 3 weeks or longer to come in. Well, not in my 30yr experience wearing contacts. Only one point person can obtain trial lenses, apparently...no one else can help you if she isn't there for her part-time bankers' hours. It's all excuses & telling you that you're wrong, no actual customer service. (Based on exam appt on 4/9/25, subsequent attempt to get trial contact lenses for my updated Rx the...
