0/5 DO NOT RECOMMEND! This place LOST my photos not once but TWICE!! I took a disposable camera to be developed 2 years ago after a trip to London & Sweden. I asked for prints. Went the next day to pick it up they said itâs not ready yet to come back the following day. Went 2 days later and they couldnât find my prints. I gave them my name, number and the date I dropped it off and they said they would call when they found them. They never called so I went back in. They sat me at the computer to go through all the photos for around the time that I dropped it off and my pictures were never developed. They concluded that they lost the roll and they offered me a free disposable camera and a free development as compensation. I was devastated. It had been my first trip to Europe and I had painstakingly curated the limited number of pictures in the roll and was so excited to see how they had turned out.
I used their disposable camera on a trip to Trinidad for my first time experiencing Carnival. I misplaced the camera when I returned home and finally found it months later. I took it in to be developed Dec 20th. I decide this time to just ask them to email it to me, thinking that maybe it will be easier than doing prints and since itâs less steps Iâd receive it. During the holiday season I actually forgot about it and only remembered last week. I scoured my email looking for the pictures that were no where to be found. I called them and they said they canât find it and to come in and look on the computer. I gave them the exact time and date I brought it in. We went through the pictures they developed around that time together and lo and behold once again my pictures had FAILED TO EVEN BE DEVELOPED! I still canât believe it. Sheer careless! I only took the second roll back to be developed because they were doing it for free after their first mistake. I never in a million years believed they would lose my pictures again. They took my name, phone number and email and said they will call when they find them. I have zero hope of them ever finding them. They donât even seem to care that they are losing people precious memories! Take your business...
Read moreThis is the first review I have wrote. The photo printed is different colour than what I see from my laptop/iPhone- the extremely rude woman made me have to write this- I called to confirm the printing etc. This woman ask me about the size I want and thrown out all numbers I have no idea about. I said I weret sure those numbers indicates to but likely A4 size. She told me she doesnât know A4 size. So I said is normal print document size- like resume/ personal statements, I told her Im auditioning for school so Iâll attach the headshot to the back of my resume. She said she cannot understand me âAT ALLâ and ask if I have anyone besides me speak Her language and know what did I want in a rude manner. All sounds like we live in different world. She rush me with a few questions with technical terms and numbersâ I donât work in print industry I would not know the numbers she indicates toâ So I ask for her suggestions then she ask me to google it myself and call her back later- said she has to hang off the phone right then. I googled the transecting between A4 and 810 then I called back again - I quote according to google- A4 is the standard size of typing paper adopted by the International Standards Organisation- this time she suddenly knows whatâs A4 and corrected me as âyou should said it is 811â then she even through out more questions with âindustry termsâ that I have no idea about- qualities, paper types etc without explaining the term-then she ask me to google and email her back.âAll these seem like a practical joke- itâs the worse service and âtry- hard-to-be-bullyâ I have...
Read more0/5 COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME! Summary: Wasted two days, got quoted crazy prices, ended going to Staples. My bad for wanting to support a local business! Full story: Day 1, talked to the asian man [easiest way to point him out, don't know his name], I needed a scan of a framed photo [14x11], first he acts like he doesn't understand me and then says they can't do it because of the frame, I go home to unframe it. Day 2, go again, same man, now he says he can do it, quoted me $45, for a scan, nothing else, no editing or cuts, just a digital scan. Then I ask how much would it be to print 2[4x6] from said scan, $5 each he says, then I, wondered how much a scan of a 16x24 and he says "even more". It seemed to me that either, he doesn't know how to do it or just doesn't want to do it, and therefore says this crazy prices just to justify doing his job. And he gets away with people being desperate enough and willing to pay. After this, I go home and give Staples a try. Guess what? $0.60 for scanning the 14x11 and $6.98 for the 16x24. And the 4x6 prints? Another $0.60 each. And they were really nice and answered all my questions. Save yourself time and money, go...
