My friends and I have frequented this club a lot for a long time. This past Friday 5/24/24 we had a very unpleasant experience with the security guard outside, who was very unprofessional, rude, and demeaning to us as customers. After trying to get in for about 20 minutes due to one of our group members having a picture of their ID, and her saying yes and no to us, she finally lets us in. While in line to pay to get inside she runs in and starts screaming at us and let’s two of our group in and telling the rest of us we aren’t allowed to go in anymore after just letting us pass by. She started cursing at us and telling us to “write a review and tell instagram about her”. The girl who takes money also did not want to let us in and refused to refund our friends the full amount of money even though they had just paid and we got “kicked out” before even getting through the door. After arguing with the girl who takes the money, my friend found out that the front door security guard will “stamp you for free” and that we needed to “make things right with the security guard” and she would let us in for free. My friends and I after frequenting this club for around 3 years will never...
Read moreAnother good club gone bad.
They say the average lifetime of a nightclub is two years. BNCC is a bit older than that, but the decline is real. What was once a fresh destination for underground House and Techno lovers in and around Bushwick, has now become just another bar-club intent on sucking as much money from you while treating you like a second-class citizen. The only remaining redeeming value here is how they give bedroom DJ's an opportunity to play in front of a crowd, and for the crowd to enjoy different sets (millage may vary of course) at little to no cover charge. Even the low prices that everyone is talking about in the reviews have gone away (sorry but $5 for a can of Modelo is not "cheap"). The final straw for me was the rudeness of certain staff members who forget that Customer is King, that you have to treat the customer with the dignity and respect he deserves since he is giving you his hard-earned money. If the customer's money is not welcome here, then he will take it elsewhere, like up the street at Bushwick Public House, which offers a similar underground House music scene in their basement, minus the attitude, with $3...
Read moreCame here to celebrate my birthday with some friends, I was so excited cuz again its my birthday. But when I came in the bouncer did not want to accept my girlfriend out of state ID. He ask for passport but who in their right mind would go to a bar with their passport on them. Mind you me and my friends gave our IDs we are all 28y 29y 30y old and my girlfriend its 26y. Her out of state ID shows her birth date. Still the bouncer wouldn't let us in. I told him she is 26 and she does not even drink. He still wouldn't let us go in. I swear he had something against us. We aren't getting a loan or opening a bank account, this is just a bar, you only got to make sure people are over the drinking age THATS IT. We dont look 21, i mean thank you but no. We had to leave and go back home because there was nothing more open. Thank you for the stupid let down, it was something so stupid. I payed for taxi to come here and another one to go back home. I couldn't celebrate my birthday and the night ended up been a disaster. Thank you Bouncer, I hope you get the same treatment in life bro. NEVER COMING TO...
