My friend had his bike stolen right outside a laundromat just around the corner from this shop. He was literally gone for a minute. Frustrated but trying to stay calm, he walked into this bike shop — a place he used to frequent — to check out prices for a replacement.

Unbelievably, there was his bike sitting for sale on the shop floor. Same model, same custom features, same scuff marks (the same bike he actually took in a few days prior to get fixed also!)— no doubt about it. To make it even more insulting, one of the tires had been slashed. And the staff still tried to sell it back to him without hesitation.

This isn’t just shady — it’s straight-up criminal. The fact that they’re operating like this in broad daylight, pretending nothing is wrong, is beyond disturbing.

Great experience here this morning. I called and asked about getting a new single speed chain and whether or not I could have it installed. When I arrived, the mechanic/owner knew I must have been the guy who called because he just greeted me and got right to work. He told me I just needed a couple of new links and that he could install it in that moment. While we waited, I noticed that he took care of some other minor fixes like adjusting the brakes. (He never asked, just did it because it was clearly done poorly by me when I built the bike). Great price, quick work, and polite. THIS is my go to for any bike work. I went to this shop for awhile and idk what happened but there use to be a guy in there I trusted and I go to them for their expertise and to make my life easier but I swear man something changed and now I stopped going to them altogether. They ruined the experience so much I took some courses to learn about bikes and how to fix them and after I took them that's when I knew they were not respectful of their customers.
