I'm only giving this place a 1 star because the fries are good. But everything else is terrible, the service, the lady answering the phones, the overall experience was upsetting.
I ordered a chicken burger with specific items and a mangometro made me wait 30 mins to find out they gave me a hamburger with no mangometro. You would think speaking the same language, they will get it correctly. Well you're wrong. Once I got home I realized I received the wrong order and gave them a call. A lady gets on the phone to tell me I would have to come back because the system automatically modified it to hamburger... Then she wants to say I never added a mango metro in the first place and the worst of all, they never even gave me a receipt. And when I asked her for her mistakes to have this delivered, she wants to say she can't have it delivered that I would have to go back, i told her my correct order and made her repeat it back so i know she has it correctly.. for me not to go back and forth, I went back to pick up my correct order to again reach home and had my order incorrect again!
Honestly, everyone in here needs training to speak, to listen, and take orders. If you get hungry and this is the last place to eat at, just make your own food. Cause I am forever...
Read moreThey have a pretty decent menu, it has many different options and plates that you can get and all of them sounds and seems delicious. About my food.. well, I got the prontito burger combo which comes w/ fries and I'll give it 3 of 5. The meat was way too dry for me, it was over cooked, the burger has chips in it so you can feel the different textures in your mouth, but they way(order) they put the ingredients in the burger isn't correct, because I was just feeling a huge wet dough in my mouth since it was all wet, not from the juicy meat but from the wet lettuce in it. The bread isn't supposed to melt in your hand and get wet. I didn't like that. They wasted the chips by doing that. I also got a cholado, that one was good! It isn't exactly how it is done in Colombia but it was good. I love fruit...
Read moreThis place is so much better than Palacio de los Cholados, it's insane. Both times that I've been there, there has been a row of double parked cars waiting for their food, or hanging out in front eating.
The juices/syrups they use to make the cholado taste so much better. The guy that makes the cholados uses about 5 different fruits, and they vary by the day.
For instance my first time there he used mango, papaya, banana, honeydew melon, coconut, and passion fruit puree. The second time he used apple instead of the honeydew.
I always ask for mine with less leche condensada (condensed milk) to avoid too much sweetness. I just have to remember to request it without papaya - hate that stuff, lol.
The hotdogs and hamburgers looked amazing, I'll be back to...
