Ferries depart every 30 minutes and take about 30 minutes to cross, making it a great way to travel between Manhattan and Staten Island. The ride offers stunning views of the Statue of Liberty, the skyline, and the harbor — perfect for both locals and tourists. The terminal itself is clean, modern, and easy to navigate. The Staten Island Ferry has been operating since 1905, with roots going back even further, and it’s now one of NYC’s most iconic and reliable services. Highly recommended for a relaxing and beautiful break from the subway!

When I first came to the island there was nothing much to do out here. But now they made it something very special . I love how it looks now. I wish the food prices was cheaper tho, they also have some brand stores which everyone will love. After a long time I went to this place to watch fireworks for 4th of July & was Bert surprised how this place looks at night. Just beautiful! I am glad I came & will come again .

When I first came to the island there was nothing much to do out here. But now they made it something very special . I love how it looks now. I wish the food prices was cheaper tho, they also have some brand stores which everyone will love. After a long time I went to this place to watch fireworks for 4th of July & was Bert surprised how this place looks at night. Just beautiful! I am glad I came & will come again .

It's great the trip to Staten Island is free in and out. Ferry is huge and there is a lot of crowd using this ferry during the morning and evening times. You can have a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty on the way. However lot of tourists use this ferry for tourism purpose. I wish the captain of the ferry and the management should take a decision to stop the ship at least for a min to take any pictures 📸 on their way. While the ferry is moving it is difficult to take proper...
