Hypno-Tronic Comics — Local services in New York

This is the only comic book store or shop that buys or sells comic books, used and New, graphic novels, used or New, and New, unopened action figurines and collectables, especially those collectables of comic book, Marvel, Dc comics, dark horse, image star wars, manga, and others such as cartoons and American popular culture iconics. I've personally been in this store, the tenement is tiny, especially compared to some other shops, but they're selection certainly is not small by any means. After some hard times in family matters, the store seems to be thriving just as well/good or maybe in fact better then ever, with Joy running the helm. If you have a question or are there browsing for a certain thing or issue of s certain comic and don't see it there, all you have to do is ask her, they're willing here to take requests for particular issues and graphic novels for example j was asking if they had Doomsday Clock and the Darkseid Wars Justice League Graphic Novels at the end of the New 52, D.C. Comic line, and although they didn't have any in stock, they were willing to order them in for me specifically, which I thought was absolutely awesome. Also if your selling any used or even practically brand new items such as comics, toys, action figurines, replicas, memorabilia, etc etc, go see Joy when she is working and she will check and see what you got. If you have something in good shape of value she may consider taking it, you never know. But this place is definitely one of my favorite comic shops of all time right here, Hypno-tonic Comics located on Styvesaunt Place on the corner of Hyatt, across the street from Staten Island Supreme/Superior Court and Staten Island City...

You know, as a proud geek, I should practically live in stores like this, but sadly, due to life being life, I can't.

That's not the fault of this wonderful lil establishment, or shall I say Institution. Because it is rapidly becoming a revered place for all.

Packed to the gills, and I mean almost every inch,its a geek paradise. You want this weeks new conics? Bam. A back issue from 1987? Done. But that's just the start. The toy&collectible selection is second to none.

And the best part? They actually treat you like you're someone whos been shopping there for years-even if its your first or third visit. They re-wrote the book on customer service.

I will absolutely return and hope to...

Amazing customer service. Vast selection of ALL things geekified and nerdilciously wonderful. Old. New. Vintage. If you want to feel like a Time Lord, or a Star Lord, they have you covered. If you want to release your inner Gotham Girl, Harley Quinn is sure to delight. GoT? SoA? WD? Brony? Minecraft? From comics to steampunk to Stay Puft and so much more, this is the one-stop shopping this Island can't live without. Chances are some of Bob's Burgers are being served on the screen, or Bender's fixin' to make a new theme park... or they have some other fun video eye...
