The Hunt that Watson Adventures put together for us was a definitely hit with our group -- we had 60+ people in our group total. I could probably write a book … but for now, will keep it brief and say that we all had so much fun, and the hunt hosts, led by Sharlette (who was fantastic and fabulous!), were all great! And Watson's service ahead of time (Kate) was outstanding! We found it fun, challenging (it was actually hard, in a good way), and brought a lot of folks from different aspects of our lives together. The awards part was perfect. I had many many people in our group give me so many compliments about the whole hunt and activity. Admittedly, it was intimidating at first … lots of instructions, lots of papers … but as the teams got going, it became a really fun, competitive, bonding, and all around enjoyable activity to make our whole wedding weekend very special. I can’t to see all the photos, b/c I have not had time to look at them all … I have seen several, and they are so fun!
Also, I thought the incorporation of the personal stuff was...
Read moreWatson runs events such as the Grand Central Terminal scavenger hunt which our team participated in for team building. The hunts are a blend of three types of events. The first has your team searching for clues from riddles all around the terminal. I liked this one the most as it was more like a clue hunt and discovering some of the history of the terminal was awesome. The second type was a team photo challenge. In this, the team had to take photos around the terminal with a certain theme, such as paying respect to someone in uniform, and email these into the office. Make sure you have someone with a good phone camera, charged battery, and decent cell reception. These required a bit of creativity, and even more teamwork. The last category was a photo scavenger hunt where the team has to find items that match a clue and take a photo, again sending it in. All were good team building exercises and required good coordination and communication. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well with directions and getting us ready...
Read moreMe and my team did a virtual murder mystery with Watson Adventures. The story was light. The tasks were fun, though. My team was split into two smaller teams, and we competed against each other. The tasks were well-designed for teamwork and collaboration. The whole thing was done over Zoom, and used the Watson Adventures website. If they come out with another story, I would pay for this event again for my team. It was worth the money, in my opinion. We got to work together, think creatively, and bond while having some fun. A little competition is also good. If I could change one thing, I would recommend to Watson to have more types of puzzles. As an example, there was a word puzzle, but I feel that too many questions were based on that word puzzle. I would recommend adding another puzzle or two, instead of having just 4 major puzzles. My team did really enjoy the "meta puzzle" at the end that required the answers from all the previous puzzles, that was probably our...
