Ambiance (5/5): The establishment is HUGE with two levels of dining and 2 full bars. Handicap accessible with an elevator. The place is decked out in modern, wall décor in Mexican themes, upbeat music (that's not too loud, perfect background volume), and high ceilings. The open space is great for big parties. Service (5/5): Because the place is so large, the wait staff have to cover a lot of ground. That being said though, I felt like they definitely came around checked in on us frequently. The day that we came (8/14/25), the air conditioning was broken and we were constantly wiping our sweat off the whole meal. I made a comment that management needs to fix it to the waitress--she brought me the manager! He apologized and asked if there was anything he could do to make our stay more comfortable. I joked that a glass of marg would be great and he totally obliged!! This extra step really put a positive spin to our dining experience. Food (2/5): We came for the $30 restaurant week. The portions are HUGE. In the fine print, the chips and salsa are supposed to come with your meal but you have to ask for it... Guac (3/5): very subpar, almost watery. Chips were cooked at home, seasoned very salty (but not too salty) which made us gobble down way too many before the main entrée Street Corn (5/5): This was the best item that we tried! 1.5 ears of corn, on the cob, seasoned all the way around. It was creamy, rich in flavors, and delicious. OG Pink Tacos (4/5): This is a very unique taco due to its fried pink corn tortilla. The blend of sauces was good but because the shell was kind of small, each bite was difficult to keep the taco in tact. I didn't love or hate it but it was interesting and different. Burrito (3/5): I don't know if "traditional" burritos are supposed to be smoldered in green enchilada sauce, but it was not a hands-on burrito and required a knife/fork. I added carnitas (+$5) and the portions with the additional meat didn't feel worth it. There was nothing special about the burrito, I might almost say a Chipotle burrito tasted better... Pink Fried Ice Cream (1/5): I enjoyed the concept and presentation but the outer coating was basically stale fruity pebbles which overpowered the flavors. The inside ice cream was good but overall not executed well. Tres Leches Churro (5/5): The presentation was beautiful! The churros were toasted to a nice crunch, accompanied with a nice ice cream and a wet of tres leches sauce. Happy hour menu at the bar and lounge: $5 modelos, $7 house win, $10 margs - tacos at $4 and other foods for under $10. Run...
Read moreTo start, my traveling companions and I had a red eye trip from the west coast as well as three hours of traffic/waiting for our hotel accommodations to be ready. Our hotel needed more time to get prepared for our holiday weekend stay, so I recommended to the group that we go just down the block to pink taco to enjoy some drinks while we waited (we all were first time customers). I called ahead a time to see if they were open due to the holiday weekend, and they were (the person who answered my call also was our server eventually ). I spent about 120.00 for three people (90% was just on drinks) and we got a fruit tray and the complimentary chips and salsa . As a current project manager who oversees multiple bars/restaurants in my home city, I can honestly say it was a very disappointing experience . The service was very slow and lackluster. It seemed like the staff was standing around and sadly it was only our table and maybe a handful of others in at the time until we left before the lunch rush. The bartender was not attentive or caring towards both the servers and guests as well (present company excluded). They completely gave us the wrong alcohol after both the server and myself requested for it, having already waited 15 minutes for a single shot. I normally write reviews to praise businesses but unfortunately I am afraid to say that this place was a complete let down. As someone who has/continues to have worked in the service industry at multiple levels, it pained me to see the lack of attention to not only my own guests but to every guest in the building. I tipped the server around 25% but it hurt me to see the lack of care towards the customers coming in. Regardless of what time business comes in, a caring employee/manager should touch base with every patron and make sure they are satisfied and even try to upsell them on exclusive products. When a server says there’s no specials, that to me says they don’t care and are not motivated to care. Hell, they could have pitched me something that was on the menu just with a premium liquor and I would have paid for it just for the experience alone. Sadly though, I nor my traveling companions recommend this place. I hope the best for this business, it employees and its future...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience for my daughter's 17th birthday. We traveled from out of state for a concert and decided to dine here as she loves pink. We had to wait for a hostess who then told us it would be a few minutes before being seated and then she beckoned for us but it turned out to be for a couple who had come in behind us and they were seated first. We were eventually seated and given menus and it took quite awhile for a server. We placed an order and waited 45 minutes and still, no food or water. Another group of 3 had come in and sat beside us about 20 minutes after we arrived. They were offered water, chips and salsa and received their meal and we had nothing. To say we were disappointed is an understatement, especially with it being her birthday celebration dinner...or it should have been. I asked for a manager quite calmly under the circumstances, and the waitress got an attitude and said she couldn't find one and they were in a meeting upstairs. After about another 10 minutes, one came to our table, Tia I believe, and offered to make us food but said there would be an additional wait but we had been waiting so long and were so jaded from the experience and very loud atmosphere (they had a DJ by the door...it would be a vibe if people could hear themselves still talk over the music. It was way too loud and would be better suited away from those dining and not right when you enter the door and by tables) we decided against that. She then offered us free shots for the inconvenience. Mind you, I told her we were celebrating a 17 year old's birthday. Smh! And not everyone drinks alcohol. It was a poor and unprofessional accommodation. She then said that they were offering us something and that if we left a bad review or something, that she was attempting to make it right and that it was free alcohol! Never again and I absolutely do not...
