The pedicure felt rushed, even though I was five minutes early. I was not asked what shape or how much I wanted cut down. I did have my headphones in but I was communicating with them. They left over dried skin on my big toe. The “free scrub” with the basic pedicure was very rough and the tech was very aggressive. The tech did not wear gloves. No base coat was put on my toes, I made a comment and nothing was done.
They place your shoes on a shelf and if I didn’t get up to ask for them I would not have gotten them. (I dried for 20 minutes, watched f1 qualifying while drying)
There was something in the nail polish that created a weird bump I’m my big toe as well. Instead of them filing it down they just put more polish on and no top coat. It looks lumpier now. Most of my toes are lumpy and have too much nail polish on them but this is the worst.
I as well was over charged. The others in the shop were charged 37 with changed I was charged 42. I asked for my receipt twice but they had thrown it out already. I tried to tip with cash (as tips are only cash or venmo) but the nail tech disappeared.
I have been getting my nails done for YEARS and never had an experience this poor. I also very really make comments about being unhappy but i made a comment regarding this experience and it was...
Read moreVery nice nail techs, despite most of them appearing to be new to the profession.
Concerns Management staff - when I visited, Management did little other than give you a performative greeting upon entrance and take payment at the end. Based on many years of going to the original nail salon located here, Kay, the owner was friendly and passionate about her guests. A friendly banter existed.
Last visit I asked one Manager would she mind looking out the window to see what the parking regulations was (as I could not move from the nail tech at the moment- she had no interest in doing so nor did she care to. I went on both a weekend and weekday, the MANAGEMENT staff on both occasions appeared to have zero interest in engaging with the customers. Engaged in conversations, lunch, and there own selves, they certainly are not what I would think of as someone taking control and welcoming.
A second key concern is why on both occasions, multiple fingers with my gel curled at the ends and appeared to be peeling off. I have been getting gel for many years and never once had a issues such as this.
It is a beautiful location and the techs try very hard, but poor quality of materials and indifferent attitude of upper management has spoiled...
Read moreI’m a local resident and was really hoping to find a good nail salon in the neighborhood — but unfortunately, my experience here was very disappointing.
The salon didn’t feel clean or well-maintained, and the staff were not welcoming at all. I came in for a basic pedicure ($45), but the service felt rushed and careless. The leg massage lasted less than a minute, and the polish was applied very sloppily — way over the cuticles and onto the skin, with no effort to clean it up.
After the pedicure, no one helped bring my shoes. I had to walk across the salon barefoot with wet toes to get them myself.
For the price, this was absolutely not worth it. Poor hygiene, poor service, and no attention to detail. I definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t...
