WORST PLACE EVER!!!!!!!!First the owner had a a bad attitude. He took my dog to get his nails groomed. Held him down really forcefully and was really rough with my puppy. He used clippers to cut my dogs nails... What kind of top of the line pet grooming uses nail clippers. He made my dog anxious. Then he said he was "filing" his nails. He destroyed my dogs nails. They were so sharp that when my dog accidentally scratched me, he sliced open my skin. The main reason I was there was to smooth his nails out. I should've left after watching him do one of his paws but I was waiting to see if he would use the other filing tool. He used some archaic metal file that has caused my dogs nails to split and now he's in pain because of this so called "pet groomer". DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Then after everything he had the nerve to tell me to neuter my dog like he was a veterinarian. Saying he wants a pet not a dog who needs to mark their territory every three feet. That's what dogs do!!!!! He said he has no patience for it and that's why I should neuter my dog. When I told him we already take care of my dog holistically, he wants to sit there and argue with me!!!!! THIS IS THE WORST PLACE EVER! AGAIN, DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU LOVE...

Oh don’t do it. This place is beyond bad. While at Queens Animal Hospital I was told that they have had “problems and reports” about animals being unwell after going here. We already knew this. My ShihTzu Cuddles would actually freak out after going to this place. He would walk funny which is a sign that they were rough whilst doing an anal cleaning. This was frequent and did not happen when we went elsewhere. Not one time did this happen at Yopet’s. If you look at social media they had not one, but two dogs die there. I’m not a lover of gossip, but the place had a rep for using “something” on the dogs to make them compliant. All we know is how the dogs (two a maltipoo also) would behave after being there. The most amazing pet store in Queens! They are always willing to help with anything you need and never hesitate to say yes. Open on weekends too, which is such a lifesaver if your babies have an emergency that they can manager otherwise they guide you of where to go ir what you can do! Everyone is so kind, and the prices are just perfect. I’m beyond thankful to have them so...
