Bagels Plus — Restaurant in New York

This place robs people! The girls who work there charge you for things without telling you. Many teachers are the school have told me its happened to then. I have let it go a few times the rudeness or attitudes. Today I grabbed a soup and put an extra bottom because it was hot and they charged a dollar. when I asked what that charge was for I told them I wasn't made aware and I gave them back the bottom. They refused to give me the dollar back. Both girls were extremely rude mind you I'm 8 months pregnate! They tried to say it's the owners and they do no refunds however they are charging for something that I did not ask or request or was even told. I will make sure that no one at my school goes there. I hope the owners see this. They can take the dollar since they need it so desperately but lost customers ! I have been there in the morning with the cooks have to do it all because staff doesn't show up or is late and have the worst characters !...

I visited on October 19. After purchasing coffee at Dunkin Donuts I needed a restroom which the hole in the wall Dunkin Donuts doesn't have. Thankfully, Bagels Plus right across the street does have a customer restroom. I ordered a toasted onion bagel with butter and a fresh fruit salad. Bagel was fresh and super oniony and the fruit salad was juicy and sweet. I just had a taste and froze it to eat later (see pics). When I emptied the container I was pleasantly surprised by how much fruit was packed into the container. Definitely worth $5 !!! Oh and the restroom was clean !!! I would give this place 5 stars. The cooks/chefs are outstanding! They are always friendly and work hard to make sure the food is good. The cashiers are absolutely horrible! While there is a line, they stand and talk to each other and ignore customers. They have horrible attitudes, and have no customer service skills at all. They do not know how to treat their customers, it's like they are doing us a favor. They will even argue with you. Even a new customer asked me as I was leaving, "is it me, or do they have bad attitudes?" It really is a shame, because the cooks are absolutely the best, standing ovation for them...the...
