Been living in this neighborhood four years. Less than a year ago we FINALLY got a hardware store. A five minute walk from home. Been there a few times. Bought paint brushes and cooking stuff and storing containers. Reasonable prices considering a pricey area. Giving 5 stars even though it's not a REEEEEAL hardware store like Vercesi in Manhattan used to be, before they closed down. But it has the basics PLUS stuff you would find at Bed, Bath and Beyond. Staff is friendly and helpful. Today I was looking for 12 woodscrews. A young man –– Mo assisted me. Found the correct size. Great. Didn't need a whole box though –– just the 12 so he asked someone if he could just give me that amount. That man turned out to be Ovidio –– the owner. He told Mo to just give them to me free of charge. And that's what happened. I'll be back. I'd have gone back even if that didn't happen. I love my neighborhood hardware...

My family recently moved to LIC. When I was walking around I saw this store and visited here because it looks so nice and clean. Various products were displayed in a good way and there were many high quality items in the store. The owner of this store gave my 2-year-old child a cute key as a gift and she really liked it. But a few hours later, the key was missing and she cried all day looking for it. Next day when I visited the store again to buy new keys for her, the owner gave a warm welcome and gave her a key as a gift again.
