Good Year African Hair Braiding (Ask for Charlene) — Local services in New York

I only had my twist in for 3 weeks with in 2 weeks twist in the back of my hair came out . Now most of them all over is coming out . It was done by the owner Charlene i paid 160.00 . As of last week on 6/18 / 2022 i ask her will she fix it . She said yes . Then on Saturday I told her i would be coming in the morning then she text me asking me to come at 4pm. Before i got a chance to get ready to come she texted me around 10am asking me to send her a picture of how many came out . I was like what ? So I thought you was going to fix it all for me I told you no matter how many came out I never had breeze or twist in my head that were coming out within 2 to 3 weeks that I pay 160 to 100+ dollars for I said that doesn’t make any sense so I asked her to give me at least 40.00 back . I sent her a video of my daughter hair as well as my hair . Telling her we both got our hair done on the same day and her hair still was attached to her scalp. That was done by someone else. So she told me to come and receive the money and I told her I will let her know. I’m on my way. She told me to let her know when I get to the door basically she didn’t want no one see the bad job she did she was hiding behind Bad work that she did to my hair so then I need to call her later on that day and told her I wasn’t doing that I want my hair fixed at least and she told me to take out my hair and she was just charge me half price which is $80 so I said you know what I’ll give you a call and let you know what I’m gonna do as of today Sunday II made up my mind not to go because I feel like it’s not worth it’s not fair that I have to pay $80 just like I paid $240 for some braids that’s not gonna last in my hair at all even though she did do it over or did the front in the back over the middle part was still coming apart. I went for boho braids which favor the stylist did for me . She has great customer service I want to first say and very polite . I was in a rush so didn't get to look at my hair in detail . Yesterday Sunday I noticed my parts are pretty un even in the front. (I got my hair done friday) I will now have to always either keep my hair in a middle part or put only certain styles because it will be obvious of the uneven parts. I live a little distance from her so I don't feel like going back for her to fix it . I do want to mention she was nice and gave me a discount . I just wish she did the parts better in the front . P.s. she might expect u to separate the braiding curly hair for boho styles. I did not feel like that should be something I have to do so I refused and she did not give me an issue or attitude and simply continued my hair and separated it herself with another braider that...

The worse braiding experience of my life . How you have 12 braiders in the salon and only one person braids your hair . I got the slowest braider ever I spend 10 hours in the salon yes 10 hours my whole day wasted . They charged me $220 but I paid $200 because that’s the original price they charge for boho braids so they try to lie to me right there . Human hair they charge me $70 which by the way the hair is way cheaper in beauty supply store and the quality of the hair they supply is not good cheap . I would never recommend this place to anybody . A bunch of thief’s and they love to argue with customer when customer is right . I should have paid only $200 because 10 hours is ridiculous especially when a bunch of girls who came in after me was finished before me . Never again the worse...
