FS Dental Arts — Local services in New York

If I could rate -5, I would. Dr. Sanchez and the front desk receptionist called the police on my brother for asking for his x-rays AND claimed he was trespassing (video proof of the incident can be provided). . .The officers that arrived on the scene were confused as well, especially considering my brother arrived during office hours, the receptionist let him in the office, and patients walked into the office while the police were there, which added to the confusion as to why Dr. Sanchez and the receptionist called the police in the first place. The dentist, Dr. Sanchez, gave my brother blurry, unusable x-rays and refused to give him better readable X-rays after he asked for the documents he paid for. FS Dental Arts has poor customer service and treats their own patients horribly. They refused to rectify their mistakes or accept accountability for creating a hostile environment for their patient (my brother)and Dr. Sanchez has yet to provide my brother with an apology for calling the police, she has refused to provide clear X-rays that my brother paid for, and she refuses to accept accountability for anything. Do not go to this dentist office. FS Dental Arts will be reported to the Better Business Bureau and because she refuses to give my brother his x-rays, this practice and Dr Sanchez will also be reported to New York State department of health for refusing to give her patient, his medical records, which is a violation...

I’ve so grateful to have Dr. Sanchez and her team nearby! I’m so pleased with the treatment I’ve received! They’re super thorough but efficient. I have had trouble finding a dentist I trust, so over time I developed dental anxiety… but I’m completely comfortable and confident when I go to my appointments at FS Dental! Everyone I’ve met at this practice has been lovely, helpful, and welcoming! Now I look forward to every dental visit!

UPDATE: I wanted to write an updated review; I am STILL am a loyal patient of Dr. Sanchez and her team at F.S. Dental Arts. Dr. Sanchez is not only my favorite dentist, but now has become a favorite healthcare provider. I feel she really cares about my health, and she takes fantastic care of my teeth.

Over the years she has done some major dental work in my mouth and some of the procedures I had never been through before, so I had anxiety, but Dr. Sanchez explained everything to me as she was going. I felt calm and reassured. To be honest, I felt very little at all and I had zero pain. Absolutely NO problems afterwards.

Dr. Sanchez and her entire team make me feel welcome, listened to, and well cared for. Everyone working here is so kind and lovely! A very calming environment, which I really enjoy. I love going to...

I went for my appointment and received a call from the receptionist while I was in the waiting room for my appointment “offering” (!) to move my appointment almost an hour later. I went to the desk and said no, I would like to keep my appointment time. They said that’s fine and I waited. 1/2 hour later, I still wasn’t seen and was told that it would be “about 10 more minutes,” which was the time they “offered” me on the message they left when I was sitting right there. I said that’s not acceptable and walked out. Needless to say, I will never go here again. Stop wasting people’s time - we have other obligations.

The problem is not that emergencies arise. The problem is that no one in this office has the customer service skills or care for patients to ensure that patients are given ample notice of delays and offers to reschedule.
