I went in for a cut today at 10am 5/1/19. This was my first time here. I’ve been getting my haircut downtown but sometimes they’re pricing is a bit absurd. Had a couple people tell me about this place and I’ve walked by it quite a bit living in the neighborhood. Soon as I walked in the guys working we’re super friendly and inviting. Ariel stood up introduced himself asked me if I was ready and sat me in his chair. We went over how I wanted my hair cut and I told him you’re the professional I trust you with it.

He spent a good amount of time cutting it double checking it just overall a real professional at his craft. I’ve always been the kind a guy that loves the art of barbering and these guys got it. It’s nice to have someone take the time to cut your hair correctly.(even cleaned up all my edges with a straight razor) In the city you’ll find a lot of times it’s all about turning the chair as quick as you can. I can definitely say without a doubt 100% worth checking out.... total with tax was 27 bucks.

FYI you cannot tip on your debit or credit card so bring cash for a tip. If I’m being honest I liked my haircut so much I walked two blocks over to an ATM to take out 10 bucks and walked back to gave it to him. I’ll definitely be returning! I’m so glad I came across this place thanks again guys especially to you Ariel great...

The first time I came to this location was about in the Beginning of the summer of 2017 and the one who attended me by the name of "Andy" i expressed to him ive been looking for a new barber to go to because I've gone a few and been very disappointed, I then continue to tell him what I wanted to be done and he said sounds like you want that Spartan look and he could have not have said it any better, and I said yeeeees and he did such an amazing job on my beard trim that I got hooked, he pampered the $hit out of me and just went in on my beard that left me looking like a sharp Spartan without a doubt.

I returned in a month to see him but then learned something happen in "andy" family and had to go and attend the family issue, and so I tried two other barbers in the shop and was very very disappointed the first being "David" which I was shock to get that type of service which was I felt rushed and he did not do half the treatment that Andy did to me and the last one was the cookie which was a woman she just messed up my whole look on my beard that I had to shave it all off and regrow and never been back since then....

So now I ask...

The regular barbers here are great and I’ve been coming for the past 2 years! I just wish the owner would vet other barbers before letting them in first.

The guy I saw today was very sloppy, with his appearance and how he cut my hair. He payed little attention to what he was doing and looked bored and distracted the entire time. He answered his phone at one point and kept checking his phone for texts every couple of minutes (no one was texting him). The clippers he was using were very dull and kept pulling on my hair, and overall left me with an uneven fade that I’m going to have to pay extra to get fixed tomorrow.

I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quality haircut at a great price, but if you go make sure to only see one of the regular barbers - the guys at the end (no one in the middle chairs). I don’t have a complicated haircut so I sometimes see a new barber here, and usually it’s anywhere from great to not that bad until today. Like I said, normally the quality is great, but they always have new barbers rotating in the middle chairs and you never know what you’re gonna...
