High Five Daycare — Local services in New York

HighFive Daycare is THE BEST daycare in Queens and I highly recommend it. The owners, Jack and Jonathan, are very accessible, and they will answer any of the questions that one may have. And the daycare teachers, Maria, Samantha, and Michelle, are above and beyond professional and they take excellent care of the kids in there. We felt truly lucky to discover this gem of a daycare in the neighborhood.

The place is pristine and is being cleaned thoroughly daily. Kids are engaged and motivated to learn and develop in a myriad different ways. My infant seems to play with a new toy every day. And he learned to crawl and sit up in no time . Also, the kids are being read to (which is huge, in my opinion). The daycare is using an app and all communication with the staff is a breeze. Plus, you get multiple photos a day showing what your baby is up to.

High Five is a really fantastic daycare. We enrolled our toddler here after needing to find a place closer to our house after starting to work from home in the pandemic. He had been in a fancy Manhattan daycare (which we loved) near our offices, so I was nervous about whether we'd be able to find a place we liked as much. I was so glad when we found High Five, and even happier when it turned out to be as wonderful as it looked. The teachers are so warm and caring, and I know they take incredibly good care of my son. They do tons of activities, and my son's day is full of art, reading, music, and play. There is a real focus on learning here, and the toddler teachers, especially Ms. Jessica and Ms. Michelle, are just fantastic. My kid adores his teachers and classmates; he literally runs out of my arms when we get to school every morning. High Five also has done an outstanding job with COVID. High Five is an absolutely fantastic daycare. I was the first person to put down a deposition when they first opened, and they have truly done an amazing job with the facility, faculty, and their curriculum. My daughter learned so much. Unfortunately, we had to move and have been to two daycares since that just do not compare. They care so deeply about the children. They still ask about my daughter 9 months later! The admin aspect of the daycare is seamless. Jonathan is an incredible director. I wish we didn't have to move as my daughter would still be there and would be flourishing. She had some special needs, and during the pandemic, they went above and beyond to make sure she was able to receive therapy while still protecting the children from outside therapists. It was absolutely incredible. You will never go wrong with putting your child at High Five an will never find a childcare facility that does so much and cares so much about our children.
