Hunterspoint Avenue — Local services in New York

This is one of 2 stations in Long Island City and the only one that's really more closer to the 7 train. 2 stars because it's literally falling apart and needs serious renovation. The stairs are uneven and falling apart, platform boards are dilapidated and weathered, the canopy as well as station trash cans are covered with pigeon feces. Nothing against the pigeons though, but the station needs to have a cleaner. Not for nothing, there was a dead turkey carcass on the tracks for almost 2 weeks before someone came out to remove it.
