Joseph's Atelier Cut and Color Bar — Local services in New York

I’ll start by saying that it is very rare for me to leave a review… but Joseph deserves one!!

I have struggled finding good hair stylist in the past because I’m fairly picky. I came to Joseph to fix my curtain bangs, which none of my previous hairstylist could fix exactly how I wanted (for years). Every time I asked if my bangs could be blended with the rest of my hair, they would tell me that I just needed to “wait for it to grow,” so I generally left the salon feeling unsatisfied and like I had to keep waiting months and months to feel okay about my hair again. That’s not how you should feel after a cut.

When I came to Joseph, he was able to add perfect movement and sophistication to my bangs in minutes, and I was blown away… so I came back right away a couple of days later to have a complete haircut with him. And let me tell you— best hair cut I’ve had in years!! I have hated layers in the past because they look spiky and they thinned out my long natural hair, but Joseph added just the perfect amount of face framing layers for me and immediately turned my haircut into a masterpiece. I have a ton of movement now and it’s definitely the most sophisticated haircut I have gotten in a very long time. I will keep coming back to Joseph— highly recommend! Very talented and...

As someone who typically cuts and colors their own hair, I was long overdue for a salon visit and found Joseph Atelier just by walking past the salon. I was absolutely floored by the level of service and detail that Joseph provided to me during my visit. He was super knowledgeable about what would work best for my hair and what services I needed to get exactly what I saved to my Pinterest board. In my experience, it has been rare to find a stylist/colorist who can turn your hair into your exact vision and Joseph did just that. Had the most amazing experience yesterday at Jospehs Atelier UES with Isabelle! the salon was so clean and had wonderful lighting in the mirrors for you to feel like your best self, before and after your styling session! Isabelle was so sweet, and gave me the most flattering blow out for a Friday night out on the town! She was so friendly and was so fun to have a conversation with during my blow out!

I would 100% recommend that you come and ask for Isabelle, she will make you feel like a million bucks!!
