I can't praise Katrine highly enough! Is it possible to give a 10 star review?? First of all, I was never even interested in a maternity shoot - until I came across Katrine's IG pg. Her photos are artistic and really seemed to capture the subject's individual personality, rather than just being a generic belly bump photo, as I've often seen.

I don't have a lot of experience with photo shoots, other than my wedding photos, which were a bit disappointing, so I asked Katrine to chat to see if I felt comfortable working together. She quickly scheduled the call and patiently answered all my questions.

Once we agreed to work together, I found that her pricing breakdown and contract were specific, comprehensive, and easy to understand. We shared pics and videos of ideas and she got a good sense of what I was looking for.

On the day of, she and her makeup artist were a pleasure to work with! Both were experts at what they do and were warm & friendly. Katrine is so creative, quick with inspiration, and gives easy directions to make you feel comfortable and look your best. The shoot was such a fun and glamorous experience for me. I felt so pampered and beautiful!

The finished products were GORGEOUS. My husband & I are a mixed race couple and some photogs don't always get the lighting right for both of us to look our best - but not Katrine! She did an amazing job, from start to finish, and I highly recommend her to anyone considering a photo shoot. We first worked with Katrine four years ago for our engagement shoot and ever since then, she’s been a go-to for us and our best friends. From the moment we met, we knew she was something special and she’s only gotten more amazing since!

We just did our maternity shoot at her new studio in Midtown, and WOW. The space is stunning, warm, and thoughtfully designed. Her wardrobe selection for mamas-to-be is so extensive, stylish, and flattering. It felt like playing dress-up in a high-end editorial closet.

Katrine is pure magic behind the camera. She’s creative, fun, and makes sure both mommy-to-be and daddy-to-be feel completely comfortable. Even if you’re camera shy (🙋🏽‍♀️), she talks you through every pose and hypes you up the whole time. I truly felt at ease!

She also has a space in the studio if you want to bring your own makeup artist or hairstylist, but she offers that too with her packages, which is so convenient. Every little detail is thoughtfully handled.

Beyond her talent, Katrine is just the sweetest human. So kind, so genuine, and someone we’re so grateful to know. The photos came out absolutely BEAUTIFUL — she edited and delivered them quickly, and they look like something out of an editorial spread. We can’t stop looking at them.

I had the pleasure of working with Kat for my maternal shoot. We unfortunately had to reschedule my initial appointment due to a scheduling error on my end but Kat was extremely understanding, I should’ve known I was in great hands since then.

Moving forward to the day of my actual appointment, finding the studio was extremely easy. The downstairs hall had a huge mirror allowing you to give your hair and makeup a final once over before officially arriving. Immediately upon walking into the studio, Kat was warm and welcoming, she made my partner and I feel right at home, the lighting was amazing, she played great music, and she was more than happy to help you get dressed if you needed it. Her selection of clothes was robust, I easily found items that fit my body shape and my style. I do suggest you have an idea of what looks you’re going for ahead of time to ensure you make the best use of your time. I’m quite insecure about my pregnant body but the way Kat’s eye and attention to detail captured my essence and inner and beauty made me so comfortable and confident. I displayed my photos this past weekend at my baby shower and everyone loved them, a few family members even asked to take a couple printed copies home. I would recommend Katrine to all my friends and family looking for a maternity and/or newborn photographer. I can’t thank her enough for capturing my special moment.
