Masjid Awliya of Allah — Attraction in New York

Great to have a place to pray Alhamdulillah Some information that might be helpful for people,

It would be great if you already have done Wuduh before coming (as I did not see a dedicated place for it)

You need to go up the stairs to enter the mosque/praying area, to get to the stairs, go a little bit straight when you enter the building, the stairs would be on the your right side (as shown in picture in other review)

Yes there is a small area dedicated for sisters to pray in, as soon as you enter the mosque, on the left of entrance there is small area covered by curtains for sisters to pray in.

For sisters: don’t be alarmed if you see people resting there, atleast when I visited people were there...

My husband I were searching for a mosque while roaming around Times Square. We found this mosque from Mulsim Pro app. We were amazed to see how the muslim brothers have turned a warehouse in the busiest part of the city into a serene prayer house! We found a lot of professionals wearing suits, even police uniform, were praying there picking out a little time from their busy work schedule. There is even a ladies corner and ablution center. May Allah give them barakah in their effort to practice this...

I was staying in NY for a few days and Alhamdulilah I found this small Masjid. Like many I was a bit confused of how to get inside. I got to pray there only once on the last day of my trip before I loaded on my bus back home, but it was pleasant and the Imam was really sweet. The women's side was locked so he gave me a small corner to myself, which I was so grateful for. Barakallahu feekum. May Allah grant everyone who attends goodness in this life and the next, and maybe InshaAllah I can come...
