KC Arts & Custom Picture Framing — Local services in New York

The experience was wonderful haven't been there in a few years but I grew up around that neighborhood over 35 years I remember KC Arts I spent much of my use in there and much of my children's youth after some time away I was able to visit them again in May of this year 2019 I was greeted by two sisters very welcoming very helpful it's still has the thumbs up for me beautiful to see the store again and the new faces I used to go back every year when I work with community board 6 and they would donate custom frame work with 75% off for the raffles at the Christmas cb6 party they were very good to our neighborhood very supporting of our community I love this store I have beautiful memories and after my visit in May I can see they're just as good I love their supplies my kids love their supplies and I was able to bring my granddaughter and she was able to sample some of their supplies as well looking forward to seeing what you wrote in her general journal and the picture she Drew she's got talent like her mama good to start her where her mom has started and where her grandma spent much time...

I come here for all my framing needs. I usually have my own frame, and especially antique frames are unusual sizes…and so is the art…so I can’t buy standard sized mats. If you bring your art and frame they will meticulously cut a mat and there’s no guesswork like with the internet. Just had a mat cut and it was $35 for a 16x20 frame. I’ve also had a custom frame made here and it is the centerpiece of my living room, the frame options are just beautiful. The custom frame, made of wood and glass instead of particleboard and vinyl, was worth every penny. Once your art and art prints look this good, seriously you’ll never go back to the internet. I typically don’t leave reviews but I love this place. The staff are so welcoming and kind and even though I don’t work there they make you feel like one of them. Service was great, quality was amazing and price was really reasonable. Also less than 24 hour turn around because I went in 5 mins before closing, which anywhere else would have been less welcoming.

I have only had a few experiences In the store but their craft and framing supplies are great. Although the store is not huge like a Michael’s they have the best versions of any product I would want while offering a great selection.
