Trek Bicycle Cobble Hill — Local services in New York

Great service -- I bought my FX 1 at Bicycle Habitat and while I love the bike, I experienced some minor issues with it. I took it back to BH a couple of times and was told 1) I wasn't experiencing any issues and 2) the issues I wasn't experiencing were probably on me.

Still, I was happy with the bike but not at all satisfied with the answers.

Later, I needed an inner tube so I went to Trek on Court Street since it's close to my office. In passing, I mentioned to the technician that save for a minor issue, I'm satisfied with the bike and would look at buying another Trek model when the time comes. He asked me what I was experiencing and after a brief explanation, he immediately knew the answer. He brought up a schematic on-line of the rear sprocket assembly and explained in simple terms what was happening (turns out to be the number of pawls in the assembly...) Not only did he give me comfort that there was nothing wrong with the bike (or me), but gave me information to look for with my next purchase.

That next purchase will be from Trek on Court Street.

Perfect experience. Great service , great staff. I just recently purchased a nice Trek Road bike and it needed some adjustments from my own user error. Let me just mention that I did not purchase this bike at this location simply because I found the exact bike I wanted out of state and its to far to go back for service. Back to my fantastic experience at Trek Cobble Hill. From the first call I made to the store and to the time I picked up my bike it has been an exceptional experience. I came in with my bike shortly after the store opened the next day, I was greeted with a worm and professional welcome. All my concerns were put into the computer and addressed. Few hours later I received the call from the store that my bike is ready and 100%. I could not be happier with the outcome.
