One of the best regular supermarkets in the neighborhood with decent prices. That do have some organic stuff but not a whole lot. What really surprised me though was these compotes I found in the packaged (non refrigerated) juices section. They are Apri brand and made in Armenian and are absolutely delicious and wonderfully healthy! They had options if quince, peach, cherry, cornelian cherry, or cherry apricot. I'm really excited about them and plan on buying more! The one issue I had was that the barcode didn't work at checkout. Please add it to your system Keyfood!!! They have everything here from fruits and veggies to deodorant and soap, eggs, juices, beer, ice cream, frozen foods, bread, ice, etc. They now have a frozen organic baby food package in their freezer case (by the vegetables) to easily make your own organic baby food for those who are interested. I'm really happy with their self checkout kiosks they put in not too long ago. They definitely get you checked out quicker and less wait time. Watch their sales, they have some pretty good deals sometimes!

Meat had MAGGOTS Do not shop at this Key Foods. Today we bought chicken thighs and took them straight home to cook. As we were cooking, we clearly see maggots in the chicken. We immediately went back to the store and showed the manager. This is our local grocery store and we shop here almost every day to have fresh ingredients for our meals. We are now questioning the safety of all their food and will not be shopping here anymore.

This store has a fish tank in the middle of an isle and seemingly for no reason. Normally i would think thats cool but there were too many gold fish in only a 10 gallon and they are obviously breathing in ammonia and poisoning themselves. A fish tank is a cool idea, maybe do just a betta tho. Much easier to care for and can be so pretty.

For some reason, this Key Food does not offer the regular store circular with all the sale prices every week. Every other Key Food seems to offer this. Thankfully, Stop & Shop nearby has many more products with sales every week. Nearby Trader Joe’s also has good prices on many products. This store used to be decent by offering the circular every week…it is really a shame that this neighborhood lacks a really good supermarket in the immediate area…stores such as Shop Rite and Foodtown would be great to have nearby. But thankfully, Stop & Shop is close by with the train and Trader Joe’s is walkable. This Key Food location needs to go back to being a real Key Food and offer the circular sales and prices. The Brooklyn Heights area is very much overrated with a lack of adequate shopping as compared to many other areas. Whatever reason this store is operating in this manner is very unacceptable. As an update…a new Foodtown will be opening on Clinton Street where Rite Aid used to be…they are a great chain of supermarkets with nice weekly circular specials…this will take the lack of a decent supermarket situation out of this...

Nasty staff, serioulsy very very rude, everytime I go to this place I go out with with bad experience. the staff need to be train how to deal with customers better than this. mangement should listen to this otherswise you will loose customos,I like on hicks but from now and on I prefer to walk all the way to keyfood store on Atlantic just to avoid your staff rudeness!

Hey Eniro, As I can't write two reviews I am going to add something to my old comment, look I am not going to bother and write you an email as you asked because obviously you are not doing a lot to improve your employee attitude with customers also I don't want to be the reason behind terminating somebody or punish her/him. there are tens of reviews like me complaining about your employees' rudeness and yet you did not do anything and nothing has been changed. All that I am asking for is you need to train them to treat the customers better than this otherwise you are going to keep losing customers and I am one of them...
