Here's why I'll be getting my next tattoo with Camille from King's Avenue: 1. The artists are supremely professional. When I got my five session quarter sleeve I witnessed artists asking for feedback, collaborating, helping each other. It's honestly amazing to see becuase there's no artistic ego here, just people doing great work and helping each other. 2. The artist I chose, Camille, was highly skilled and collaborative. I had an idea and with her suggestions we created something I'm proud to have on my skin. Not only was she technically skilled but she made the whole process of getting a 30 hour tattoo easy. It was my first tattoo, so this was a critical piece for me. 3. The vibe is immaculate. That studio is some classic Bowery NYC vibe. It was great to spend a lot of time in the space. 4. The artists are extremely nice. So, not only is everyone highly skilled, but they're also very helpful. When I was getting tattooed from Camille I saw someone next to me getting tattoed from Mike. It was their first tattoo. The customer was obviously very nervous, Mike was so gracious and patient with them, I was so impressed by his professionalism - and that's present with everyone there. Literally everyone here is very helpful and professional. Anyway. Get your tattoo from here. Get a big one. Tip your artists and bring some snacks.

Got my first piece done here by Ann yesterday, and it was quite the privilege. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I am exceedingly happy with the finished piece. Truly, I only have positive things to say about the entire process from start to finish. Everyone I dealt with was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The space is beautiful, filled natural light, beautifully showcasing their collection of tattoo artwork on the walls of the studio. If you are looking for an amazing tattoo studio in NYC, just be sure to call ahead or make an appointment! I can’t recommend KA highly enough. I’ll be going back soon for sure. Edit: I just revisited KA this weekend to start my first sleeve after approx. 11 months. I did two days, Fri & Sat, with Ann, and am beyond thrilled with it so far. Looking forward to going back for additional sessions soon and more time in their beautiful studio.

I can't speak positively enough about my experience. Becca was hands-down the best and the folks handling appointments and calls are the epitome of good customer service. Becca was warm, friendly, conversational, and her work speaks for itself. If you're looking for a tattoo artist, she's well worth any wait. She was insistent I be happy with the placement and size before we started which I'm grateful for and, though I don't have any other work to compare to, as a person with a fairly low pain tolerance I was happy to find the pain was tolerable at first and nearly non-existent after only a short while: a testament to her technique. If I get more, I want it from Becca. If you want any, you want them from Becca. Look at this beauty!
