We had an amazing experience at KYHA. And it was just that—an experience. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted politely into a beautiful open space that isn’t overwhelming or distracting and offered water & champagne. The location is clean, spacious, modern, and well air conditioned, so you don’t feel claustrophobic or overwhelmed while focusing on the dresses you’re trying on. The stylist is prepared based on your phone consultation but still takes the time to chat and discuss options. Shout out to Phoebe, our incredible stylist who so obviously loves her job and wants you to feel comfortable and happy. Phoebe was also the first stylist of the day to ask about the venue and to paint a picture of the day (only one other stylist did that!). She wasn’t overly dependent on the bridal squad for opinions and truly listened to the bride. And even though we were a little late for our appointment (summer traffic), we never felt rushed and still had all the time in the world to try on all the options. Once we found a top contender from our initial appointment, Phoebe made time in the afternoon for us to come back for a second look (after a few more appointments) and helped us say yes to the dress without ever being pushy. And let me tell you, even after being exhausted from 4 dress appointments that day, we were excited to go back for that afternoon second look because of how great that team and experience is. The team also helped us stay budget-conscious and made sure we didn’t feel uncomfortable with prices—it was all very pleasant. The dresses are gorgeous, well made & feel like they can withstand some hardcore dancing!
I highly recommend booking an appointment here. Overall, you get a pleasant experience with people who know what they’re doing, the opportunity to have a stunning wedding dress, and feel supported for one of the biggest decisions for...
Read moreI had the most amazing bridal experience at Kyha and will highly recommend them to friends. I came from DC to New York for dress shopping and went to five shops (Kyha, Sarah Seven, Anne Barge, Mark Ingram, and Lovely Bride). Kyha by far had the best customer service and offered the most luxury experience (ironically for the most reasonable price). I ended up finding my dress there, but even if I hadn’t I’d still be writing the same review. They have really perfected the attention to detail that other older brands have let slip. I reached out to all salons prior to my appointments to ensure the dresses I was interested in were in stock and in my size (or at least close to my size so that you don’t get an unrealistic idea of the fit). Kyha was the first of all salons to respond and assured me they’d have everything ready for me at my appointment. They also called me well in advance to make sure they had all of the information they needed so that we could get straight to work on the day of my appointment.
Upon arrival, I was offered a glass of champagne and congratulated, brought to a dressing room where all the gowns were ready for me in my size, and I was able to try them on in a quiet, peaceful, and beautiful salon. These circumstances are not true for all of the bridal shops I went to, and I really appreciated how Kyha went above and beyond to make sure I felt special while also making efficient use of my limited time. I found my dress within 30 minutes and got to spend the rest of the appointment putting the whole vision together with the veil, having a really joyful moment with my friends and family, and talking through next steps with my stylist (who was fabulous). The dress and the experience picking it out were exactly what I wanted and at a price point well under what was offered by other stores. Cannot recommend...
Read moreA love story via instagram. I came across KYHA on my regularly programmed screen time (all day) perusing possibilities for a wedding dress. Now I’ve wanted to have this very Mia Thermopolis foot popping moment with a dress, stylist and bridal studio for my whole life.
As someone who’s not a size 4, trying on dresses and stepping on a literal pedestal is not really my thing. After the first appointment I had in another place, my hopes were kind of down but I had a feeling my day was going to turn around as we stepped into the Noho KYHA.
First were greeted with all smiles that were gorgeous and warm. We were immediately offered bubbles and all I could do was look at this bridal studio that I couldn’t have dreamed up. I felt like it could have been a deleted scene from the Devil Wears Prada where Andi goes pick up an extremely chic bridal prices for Miranda. I had had a conversation with Ansley prior to my appointment and had mentioned some gowns and I liked but that I had no idea and no Pinterest board, nothing just vibes. So it was truly and first dress dream moment.
Once I put the first dress one I knew and just couldn’t feel any happier. I also tried on various other style that I liked and am considering for my second look. I just want to reiterate how special this moment was for myself and my mom and my sister. Ansley was an angel, so sweet so knowledgeable, and when she styled my gown I knew I had checked a MAJOR if not the most major box for my wedding. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will be back for a second look dress and to hang out with all the girlies cause you guys were all just the best. Thank YOU! I am heading back to DC a happy happy...
