La Maison du Chocolat World Trade Center — Local services in New York

Bought truffle chocolate for my wife on 2/13 for Valentine’s Day. Would never recommend this store. The chocolate they sold me had expired a week before on 2/7. Hard to believe a store with the reputation such as this would knowingly sell expired chocolate. I asked for a refund and a gift card for a box in the future as a sign of good faith. I was given the refund but nothing else. No remorse at all. For a premium product one would expect similar service....

I always seek out La Maison du Chocolat for their macarons! Came across their branch in the Occulus recently, so had to try some. I got the chocolate raspberry one (my personal favourite), caramel (tasted just like caramel, no complaints there), and pistachio (a bit on the milder side but you could still tell it was pistachio alright). I love this store, but it took me half-an-hour to find this new location. It's not in the Oculus directory, it's not on the La Maison du Chocolat website, the Google Maps pin is wrong, and none of the social media posts give the actual location.
