This place always has massive problems hour long waits and techs with horrible attitudes. They typically don’t have the orders that the doctors send. Four other patients waiting in there today had the same issue. I heard the people in line were sending the front desk their orders by iPhone airdrop because their fax and email weren’t working. The place is always packed and the techs have bad attitudes bc they are understaffed. Zero stars if I could. I see the owner answering some of these reviews saying “Direct Message us to resolve your issue” how would we do that? No one answers your phone.
Today I went in at 3:30 and was finally called back at 5:05pm. The lady had a THE WORST attitude and was annoyed at me bc I tried to ask her to specify what labs she had ordered, because last month they skipped sending some of my labs. She muttered under her breath “I don’t have time for this today!”
Then she wouldn’t listen when I said I need a small butterfly needle not a big one: I am a hard stick and have labs monthly, so i know exactly what I need. She proceeded to dig with a big green needle and said they were out of small needles.
I decided to just leave after she tortured my arm with two needle sticks bc she was being aggressive. She left a massice massive bruise on my arm. And she still didn’t even get the labs. She tried to say I made her nervous and that’s why she didn’t get it.
She took her anger out on my arm with a big fat green needle.
The second problem is this is the second time I have had this location draw for the same labs , last month they didn’t draw all the labs that my Dr ordered. He ordered T levels and E2 and they only sent in the T labs, which btw...
Read moreHELLISH EXPERIENCE. I have been coming to Labcorp, 14 st location for my bloodwork for many, many years. Unfortunately, it has CLOSED!!! It was a wonderful place. Always a great experience -- quick, professional, clean, painless, kind. So I now went to 120 9th ave location. Huge Mistake -- the phlebotomist (a young Guyanese woman, I don't know her name) took my blood. She was incompetent and unprofessional, stabbed my arm a few times before saying, "go to the other labcorp. They might help. It's on 17th st." No address, nothing. I had to LEAVE this place and go elsewhere. I've never had this experience in all my decades of getting bloodwork. What kind of unprofessional establishment is Labcorp? To tell customers to leave as they might have better luck elsewhere??? When I did reach there, after finding address on iphone, it was all the way at 6h avenue on the 7th floor on some building without even a Labcorp sign. YOu have to press a buzzer to get in, a buzzer that didnt even work!! Now, I have to get specialized tests which must be taken very early in the morn. This was way past that time. I am so horrified by Labcorp. If I could sue them for this experience, I would. I am warning everyone I know, including medical professionals,...
Read moreHad an appointment at this location for some basic lab testing - made the appointment on their website and attached the order so they knew what service was needed. When I got there, they told me they didn’t have the necessary equipment to run the tests and said I should go to another location. I told her that I only had an hour until I had to be back in the office and asked if she could call to let the other office know I was on my way. She did not. I got there and had to check in a second time, e-mail the forms a second time, and then wait in the waiting room because I didn’t have an appointment at that location. Poorly handled...
