Lex Pack & Ship — Local services in New York

A family apt was sold and all members were told to promptly remove their personal belongings that had gathered over the years. The problem was I was located in Aotearoa or NZ.

I found Lex Pack & Ship online. Through half a dozen emails due to the huge time zone differences, they were able to coordinate pick up with the building management. This also involved providing proof of liability insurance as required by the co-op board. During this process, Thomas was extremely patient and offered advice on what to ship (the large flat screen a “no-no”as it would cost more to ship than worth with no guarantees). They were able to find good pricing to ship a large oil painting with insurance and proper packing to NZ. In addition, they were able to consolidate boxes of clothing, baby pictures, prints and Beats to reduce the cost of shipping to my son in nearby Philly.

It was stressful to do this from afar. Thomas made it easy as he was constantly reassuring and unbothered about my request to gather the remaining items and reduce their size. He never complained nor felt as if my requests were impositions.

It was an extremely positive experience over something I was dreading. Now I can relax! I highly recommend them with their friendly professional service and timely updates.

AWFUL SERVICE... If you have any sort of issue or problem, they will have ZERO INTEREST IN HELPING. Poorly run office with little or no business sense. Consistently overcharged (with intent) for services (Lex Pack will ignore their price sheet for iPostal customers and just charge whatever they want to).

REPLY TO OWNER COMMENTS: Shall I call you to speak personally or provide details of my frustrations on this Google rate and review page. Either way, I have reached out to your location twice in an effort to get my problems (overcharges) adjusted, but you guys show no willingness or commitment to fix it. My last two conversations lead to nothing but wasted time and frustration (and NO RESOLUTION), so I had to go to iPostal Corporate where they fixed the 1st issue (that you guys were not willing to adjust). Hint: I am an iPostal Customer (at your location and many other locations around the country); and I have had nothing but problems with being charged totally different amounts than your "posted rates". My issues with your location have been easy fixes, but you guys would rather argue...

I cannot share enough what a great experience I had with Lexington Pack and Ship ! The customer service was incredible, especially by Thomas and Irma . They treated me with such kindness and customer service as I was packing things up to send home after my mother passed. They Helped me decide the best way to send things to minimize my cost,

I felt like Thomas and Irma treated me like their own family ! Where can you go where you feel you get that Kind of attention?

I wish I ran into Irma’s and Thomas’s everywhere I went like the pharmacy and the bank, etc., because the world Would be a better place to live!
