I have hated my nose for most of my life. Recently, it seemed to be taking over my face. As a younger woman, no plastic surgeon would touch my nose. It’s always been a little bulbous and has gotten so much worse as I have aged. I know I could never go forward with surgical rhinoplasty because I would end up regretting it and was always afraid it would change my entire face. I was blessed enough to meet Dr. Cameron Rokhsar who is truly the cosmetic dermatologist rockstar of NYC with a specialty in non-surgical rhinoplasty. My nose was becoming more and more uneven and bulbous that during Covid people would comment that my mask looked awkward on my face and they would try to straighten it. I would laugh and say it’s my nose, not the mask. I can’t even hide this thing with a mask! Seeing Dr. Rokhsar about a non-surgical rhinoplasty was one of the best things I have ever done and life changing as I was beginning to become quite self conscious. If you are worried about pain, don’t be! I did not even need to use numbing cream. I used a little ice and shockingly only felt a tiny pinch. I’m pretty brave when it involves beauty and pain but some things just hurt. This did not hurt! Dr. Rokhsar is absolutely phenomenal. I had no discomfort or bruising after which are risks with any injectables.

I was immediately impressed walking into his beautiful office in Manhattan and his staff was so welcoming. This put me at ease and usually there is some anxiety associated with the anticipation of having something done. The efficiency and professionalism of the whole staff including the medical assistant or nurse who was with Dr. Rokhsar when he did my nose was unlike anywhere else I had visited in the past. He was so thorough and explained what my expectations should be during and after the procedure and any potential risks or side effects. It’s important to know every possible thing that can go right or wrong in cosmetics and to know realistically what to expect. He is so kind and I felt so comfortable. My anxiety disappeared. I was blown away about how well I was treated and how quickly I was in an exam room with him. I have referred many friends, family and my own patients since I saw Dr. Rokhsar and my results were long lasting. I rave about him to people and every patient I have referred to him has personally called/texted me after their visit with him and thanked me. The staff gets you in for an appointment when you need it and that’s a nice feeling because NYers have crazy schedules. A friendly person immediately answers the phone and is ready to help you schedule/cancel an appointment and addresses any questions or concerns.

I could see the beautiful, natural results the night of my appointment and could not stop looking at my nose. :). Friends and family commented on how great it looked often. He listened to me and cared about what my desired results were and this is so important. Expect the highest end, top notch, efficient care when you see Dr. Rokhsar. Most importantly, know you are in the hands of a true artist who is a highly regarded board certified dermatologist with many years of experience. I cannot wait to see Dr. Rokhsar again soon. I am happy I did my research and grateful I was in his hands as even though it’s non-surgical that does not mean anyone can do this.
