I ordered the Crazy Turkey Sub two months ago and it was one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had in my life. This sandwich was advertised as having: Smoked Turkey, Brie Cheese, Alfalfa Sprouts, and Honey Mustard. What I got instead was a sliced turkey deli meat with what looked like maybe Swiss Cheese?, lettuce, and mustard, on top of one of those very dry white submarine breads. I did not check my sandwich at the restaurant and did not look at it until I reached my sit down lunch spot. I told myself never to come back to this deli.
Today I decided to give it another chance and order a burger. I walked in and ordered a bacon burger. They asked if I wanted just the sandwich or with fries, I asked what do the fries look like? Then he said âokay friesâ so I said âno, may I see the fries first?â He showed me the bag of frozen fries and it was like those thick steak cut fries you just know theyâre going to be dry so I opted to just get the sandwich. After waiting for 15 minutes, they slide my finished burger to the cashier and it looked so small. I open it up to see a beef patty, two pieces of bacon, in between two bun halves that looked like they were toasted on a panini grill. This thing was smaller than my hand and I have small hands. I asked if I can get lettuce and tomato on it, and the cashier responded, âYou said you wanted a bacon burger and nothing else. Thatâs bacon and burger.â I said okay, may I have some lettuce and tomato on there too then? He reluctantly said that they can add it for a $2 charge. I said thatâs fine, but then I just opted not to get it, seeing as how the burger looked, I donât think adding the lettuce and tomato would have made much of a difference. The berries in their cold-hold looked bad so I figured I shouldnât trust their lettuce and tomato anyways. I donât mind if I have to pay extra for lettuce and tomato which I do find odd but why try to make the customer feel like they ordered it wrong as if theyâve never ordered a burger before when they could have just said, âsure, we can add it for $2â if that is their policy? Why start trying to make the customer feel like they ordered it wrong?
Anyways, if youâre wondering why there is never anyone in this deli, itâs because the food is horrible so it is really only good for picking up a bottled...
Read moreIf you're reading this, please take my advice and do not order for this establishment. Had a large order done. The food was delivered late. The food is mediocre at best. There was an item missing from the order so i called up and they insisted that they sent all the items of my order. Basically, they were convincing me that i was wrong and that what i got is what i order. Had a conversation with them for 10 minutes about the item missing and going back and forth with a women and a man on the phone. The man just wants to hang up the phone and tells me "i dont know man. I cooked all the food. All the food was delivered. Im sorry i have customer to help." Geez guy, i am a customer. Finally the women tells someone to make a new burger but go on the phone and tell me the price for a new burger. Basically telling me pay for the missing item that was already paid for. Don't do it to yourself. Go...
Read moreI love this place, good price, delicious. I would love to give 5 stars. But today I buy 7 breakfast platter, each has 2 egg, some bacon, 2 hash brown, and French toast. I paid $113+ in cash. It means each one is $16.2 after tax and cash discounts. Their lunch is only $10.8âŚfor 1 meat and 2 sides. There must be something wrong with my receipt lol. Sadly I lost my receipt and cannot go back. I strongly suggest they change their menu. Itâs too old, hard to read, and no price on menu. Price can be more transparent. Hunter college students are the new generation. You will have more business from them if you update some of the store.
If the owner see this review today and still remember me, please recalculate the price for me lol. I will go back to take a refund if there is something wrong and change it to five star lol. I will buy only the lunch if the $16+ for breakfast platter...
