Great customer service over the phone, long distance and especially in person when you enter their private jewelry boutique. I started visiting this unique jewelry shop probably around 2008 and became instantly addicted to their unique and very tiny precious and semi precious gem stone rings. Sadly over the years I would either lose some pieces or have them stolen from hotels because I have been traveling steadily for three years; but Elise has had my rings repaired for me in the past and I just ordered a brand new stacking pinky ring that I enjoy wearing. Elise stands behind all her jewelry so if your stone falls off or you need a repair she will take care of all of this for you and have it delivered by mail if you do not live in New York. Whenever I have a chance to visit New York though I always end up leaving with one or two rings that I fall in love with. Next time I am able to visit I will hopefully purchase a couple of rings that I truly miss! I love the delicacy of all her gems and jewels and if you love vintage pieces her jewelry is very vintage in look and feel. Once you enter Lunessa you will feel so tempted to buy everything in sight so be prepared to be dazzled this store is very special...

Hands down my favorite jewelry store in all of NYC; if you are in Soho or even in NYC definitely make it a point to stop by this gem of a shop. Elise, the owner, is not only an amazing designer herself, but she also sources and curates the most beautiful collection of jewelry including vintage jewelry. I really appreciate that if I shop at Lunessa I am buying pieces that are unique. They have a great balance of both very simple/staple jewelry pieces in addition to statement jewelry. I have a number of simple gold rings in addition to statement cocktail rings - and get equal number of complements on all! Additionally, Elise is a jeweler I trust and turn to with any jewelry repairs and requests for custom jewelry; she recently transformed a pair of small diamond stud earrings into a stunning statement diamond halo earrings, offering her design expertise to help me customize a design that I loved. Elise is so talented at what she does, and she is sweet and lovely as a person. I approached her for some custom jewelry and she actually took the time to meet with me and show me references and explain in detail how the pieces would be created. Rather than simply agreeing to make what I asked, she warned me that the rings I was asking for (with a super thin band) would realistically be too fragile for everyday wear. This enabled me to make more informed decisions about my pieces and in the end made for a pair of rings that perfectly strike the balance between elegance and everyday wear! Asking the right questions to figure out what someone actually wants is what I consider an awesomely professional experience and Elise does this in a kind and compassionate way.
