I just want to bring to the attention to whom it may concern I was at the Social Security office at 123 Williams St. On July 3. Which is the Social Security office in Manhattan one of many, that I had been to on the same day. but I have to say that this one stand out to me the most the representative that helped me. His name was Mr. TEIXEIRA, whom I have to say was extremely patient. Great customer service skills and really understanding. He did not know that I was a disabled veteran with a liver and kidney transplant and was very weak on this day from running around with my dad. In which I care for now. All he knew was that I was a daughter caring for her father. With this being said, I do believe that Mr. TEIXEIRA should be recognized for his impeccable customer service. It was a really hard day for me and he made it Uncomplicated for me that day. Please let him know I truly I’m grateful for his extraordinary customer service Thank you. This is not my pick The clients last name is Contreras

The voice menu doesn’t play half the time you call. ā€œFor more questions about fraudā€¦ā€ gets cut off, so good luck if you have questions about fraud lol. Some of the misleading menu options get you caught in a loop where you have to hang up and try again to talk to a real person. Then, as others have said, once you’re on hold, you’re there forever, and then the call disconnects. I still haven’t gotten through after several tries. I’m trying to get a replacement SS card because I need it to get a new state ID. Bureaucracy is already the worst, and this service takes it to another level.

I had an amazing experience at the Manhattan Social Security Card Center! As a first-time applicant, I was nervous and unsure of what to expect, but Officer Teixeira at Window 29 made everything so smooth and stress-free. He was incredibly kind, patient, and took the time to walk me through every detail, including what to do if I ever lose my card. His professionalism and warmth truly made a difference. Thank you, Officer Teixeira, for turning what could’ve been a stressful process into a pleasant and reassuring experience. I’m so grateful!

5 stars because 1 bad apple should not affect the others. I visited 3 separate times cause I did not have the proper documentation. Some of the pluses are: They open at 7am Not hard to get to from the train at all. Lobby security is friendly as well as the officers on the 3rd floor social security card center Fast service my 1st 2 visits with windows 6 & 7 were pleasant. They were super nice and patient with me when I was asking questions.

Negative experience: My last visit with window 22 was horrible. She was rude as soon as I stepped up to her window. She put her computer monitor to block me from seeing her. I had to take a deep breath in response to her bad energy and rude like demands because I was with my son. But really I wanted to give her a piece of my mind. Window 22, please do better and treat people how you would like to be treated. I am an office manager and I am very big on...

I work for a relocation company, and during the pandemic we have not been able to accompany our clients to the SSO. When following up on their applications, there was always a read thread: Window 17. The clients that were lucky to be called to the officer named Maria always mentioned her when we followed up with them. She is diligent, efficient, but most of all so very lovely to interact with! It has been such a pleasure hearing our clients mention her after their visits, then we know they've been in the best of hands! The William Street Office has by far the most service-minded staff, both when it comes to the security guards and the officers. One of the guards has even learned phrases in Mandarin to help visitors when entering the office! Windows 3, 12, 16, 21 and 30 have also been very professional in our experience. Thank you for...
