Was recommended by a friend to try 7th Street Burger while I was in N?YC, so since my hotel was only a few minutes away, I had to make a stop here.
The Food: I ordered the "Double Cheeseburger" for my meal. The burger was hot and tasty. Delicious flavor with each bite. It only comes with grilled onions, American cheese, pickles and their house sauce though. So with little toppings, it makes for a basic burger, but very delicious. I do wish there was a little more to the patty, especially at this price, but its not the end of the world. Overall, a quality burger, just a little pricey for what you get.
The Service: Service was good here. Ordered at the register and the staff was very fast and quick with getting orders out. The menu is small and gets straight to the point as well.
The Atmosphere: Small space that doesn't have a lot of indoor seating. It seems more of a takeout spot than anything. However, the place is very bright and white, with minimal decor.
Overall, a 4.5/5. Burger was absolutely delicious! Had tons of flavor and service was fast and easy. I'll be visiting 7th Street again...
Read moreI had a terrible experience today at this branch. The male cashier with rasta hair (who refused to provide his name) was extremely rude when handling a mistake with my order. I had ordered three burgers and waited exactly 17 minutes, which is reasonable during busy hours. However, I realized that only two burgers had been prepared. Thinking there was an error, I went back to the cashier to clarify. Instead of addressing the issue politely, he insisted the order was correct and told me I would need to pay an additional $7 for the missing burger. He gave no explanation for the mistake and bluntly said I would have to wait another 15 minutes or leave if I didn’t pay. When I expressed that I wanted to check my account first because I no longer trusted the process, he became visibly angry. He started yelling in front of other customers, which was completely unprofessional. To make matters worse, he then complained about me to the next customer in line, using inappropriate language. This behavior was unacceptable and deeply disappointing, especially coming from what used to be my favorite burger...
Read moreI’ve stayed in this area of Manhattan since 2016 and somehow missed this spot until recently—even though it’s literally two blocks from my hotel. Once I finally tried it? Yeah… definitely worth the stop.
The menu is super simple—classic cheeseburgers, hamburgers, fries, and a few sides. No frills, but that’s part of the charm. I grabbed a cheeseburger and a bottled Coke (not a can—respect ✊🏾), and it ran me under $10. In the middle of Manhattan? That’s a steal. Beans well spent.
The burger? Fire. Not some gourmet fancy thing, but juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Exactly what I needed before taking a long walk. Now keep in mind, seating is limited. There’s a few chairs if you’re lucky, but this place is small and always busy. If you’ve got 3 or more people, I’d definitely recommend grabbing it to-go.
Pro tip: I took mine and walked straight across the Brooklyn Bridge after. Burger in hand, skyline views—it’s a New York moment.
